Maya's POV

So many phones were ringing and you could see people pacing frantically all over.

The longer I stayed in this seat the more nervous I felt. Eva and I decided that coming to the police would be the smartest thing to do.

The detective had called her in about half an hour ago for questioning. I can admit that I was scared I mean what if someone wanted me dead.

Was it Peyton behind the entire scheme of things? Or did we have something else to worry about.

I've literally sat here thinking about the entire situation and not fully getting it. See something was missing there was a bigger picture that no one seemed to notice.

In the distance I could hear Eva talking to someone as they made it around the corner it was her and the detective.

I stood up proceeding to walk over to them

"So any good news?"

The detective spoke up

"Well we still have no leads on Peyton's location, but we will be looking into the note and see if we can figure out who wrote it"

Honestly that wasn't the response I wanted to hear its been nearly 3 months and still they had no solid leads.

Yeah it pissed me off knowing that maniac still lurked the streets just waiting to cause more damage.

I decided to walk away before I would be the one put in handcuffs. When I pushed the door opened I heard shuffled foot steps following close behind

"Stop! Please"

I thought about turning around but that just didn't appeal to me right now so I continued walking.

Before I could make it to the car I was grabbed forcefully from behind and in a matter of seconds everything went black.

**

My eyes were so heavy it was diffcult to open them. My head was still spinning and I was drifting away.

I tried to move but I realized that it wasn't an option someone had tied me up and did a damn good job to be honest.

My hands were handcuffed to the table that I currently layed on. It was cold and uncomfortable, and my legs were also restrained and weren't being loosened unless it be by whoever done it.

I put my head back down thinking why would anyone do this. Looking around the room I could see medical tools on a small table pushed against a wall. I hoped that this wouldn't be used on me honestly because well pain wasn't something I handled well.

"Well, well I bet you didn't count on seeing me again"

This person's voice was low and had little emotion to it so I didn't expect it to be her standing over me.

"Well, aren't you going to greet me?"

I couldn't believe that she just asked me that

"Hi maniac nice seeing you"

"Oh c'mon there isn't need for name calling because well that's just plain rude"

I didn't respond wasting my breath on her wasn't worth it.

A sly smirk came upon her lips she studied me up and down

"Well I didn't expect him to bond you up this good"

"And who's him?"

She tilted her head to the side and gave me a sincere grin.

"So you really haven't caught on yet have you Maya? See I thought you were smarter than that. Do you really think that I could do this all on my own"?

"Well no, but your behind it all"

"Well true but I'm a teenage girl like you I need help from my posse"

I really didn't want to laugh but I found myself grinning because she had just said posse.

"Oh nice to see you smiling see that won't be for long so enjoy it"

She walked out of the room just leaving me here with so much to wonder about I wish I knew what would be next.
