Unexpected

Chapter 4

Just the beginning

I ran inside my house closing the door behind me quickly. I stood there with my back against the door and my head tilted back.

My mind was spinning with a million different thoughts. I remembered that the only girl who had ever made feel that way was Jess and now Maya was capable of doing it also.

I felt sick I always hid my feelings because I didn't understand them myself, and it was easier that way people couldn't hurt me or get it in.

I jumped up quickly when the door bell ranged I nearly had a heart attack my, heart was beating extremely fast. I rose to my feet then looked through the peep hole it was Maya.

I slowly unlocked the door and pulled it open. She stood there smiling at me I soon realized her deep dimples that I hadn't seen before it was adorable.

She had changed her clothes she looked more casual. She was wearing a sweater with ripped up jeans, and had on white vans.

"C'mon let's go"

She said twirling her hair I didn't think about it I closed the door and we walked over to her car.

"Do you drive?"

She raised an eyebrow with curiousity in her eyes

"Yes I do"

She threw the keys over to me I caught them.

I got into the red mustang and put on my seatbelt. I put the key into the ignition and started the car up. I put it into drive and drove off.

I looked over to see Maya she had her hand on her head and her feet on the dashboard looking out the window. She seemed sad

"Aren't you going to put on your seatbelt?"

I asked concerned

"Nope I'm a dare devil, plus seatbelts are overrated"

she let out a sigh

"Fine suit yourself Ms.Dare devil"

she smiled and I can tell that she was blushing.

"So where do you want to go?"

"Take me wherever you want, you have control"

I decided to head down to the beach its where I went to clear my mind. The drive was long, and silent Maya had fallen asleep so I kept my eyes on the road hoping to get to the beach soon.

By the time we got there it was raining. I woke Maya up

"Do you want to leave its raining?"

She didn't say anything she quickly glanced at me then jumped out of the car and stood there in the rain.

I started yelling

"Get back in you'll catch pneumonia"

she ignored me and ran for the water I jumped out of the car and ran after her. Boy was she fast her legs moved so swiftly.

The sand felt disgusting it was so wet. It also slowed me down and it was becoming a workout. Finally I saw the water and Maya was taking off her clothes getting ready to jump in. I thought to myself

"What the hell is wrong with this girl?"

Her body was even more toned then I had thought. I decided what the hell and took off my clothes and jumped in with her.

The water was freezing I guess I knew how Jack felt in the Titantic I could barely feel anything. She splashed water in my face and went under the water.

I looked around for her when I felt something touch my leg.

I almost died when she jumped up laughing. I couldn't help but laugh along with her

"My goodness you're even more cute when scared"

I stopped laughing and smiled

"Thanks.. I guess"

"Are you scared of me Eva?"

"No what makes you think that?"

"You just seem tense that's all, let me massage your shoulders, loosen you up a bit"

"Umm... sure go ahead"

She was so gentle and with the rain falling down it was the best feeling ever. I could feel her leaning in close to my neck I felt her breathing slowly against it. A small part of me wanted to push her off, but the bigger part wanted more.

She pulled my hair back and started kissing my neck my body instantly became warm. I no longer felt the freezing water brushing against my skin.

Her lips were soft and gentle unlike Ben's his lips were so rough and chapped I disliked kissing him. I though

"Wait, Ben Eva what are you doing?"

I quickly turned around stopping Maya instantly. She cupped my face into her hands then rubbed her thumb against my cheek

"Its okay I won't hurt you I promise"

I melted I couldn't understand I just met this girl and she gave me a feeling that no other boy has given me not even Ben. It was so confusing I wanted to cry.

She looked deep into my eyes it felt like she was reading my mind. I couldn't control this moment I knew what was going to happen next.

She kissed me, and that's when I knew that my senior year would be the most memorable.
