Unexpected

Chapter 13

I woke up and didn't find Maya by my side. I pulled the covers back and yawned after I rubbed my eyes.

I smelled the aroma of bacon lurking through the air. The room felt warm almost like it was a sunday morning and I was a little girl again.

I heard pots and pans clinking, and clanking against eachother from downstairs.

I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower.

When I walked into my room I was surprised to see that Peyton was still sleeping.

I threw on a tank top and gym shorts then headed downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and Maya was cooking breakfast.

She still had on my t-shirt but she was only in her panties

"Well good morning sunshine nice to see you finally woke up"

"Yeah nice to see you in nothing but your panties"

I looked down to see what color they were.

"Hey eyes where I can see them"

I looked back up and shook my head

"Sorry.."

then I giggled in embarrassment.

"Well I wasn't sure what you or Peyton liked so I made pancakes, waffles, and french toast"

"Well I like waffles and french toast"

there was bacon, biscuits, hash browns, sausage, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

I laughed

"I'm pretty sure that half of this food wasn't in my house"

"Yeah I ran down to the grocery store early this morning, I had to ask for directions but I finally found a Publix. I thought I'd pay you back by making breakfast"

I walked behind her and laid my head gently onto her shoulder. I whispered in her ear

"Thank you daredevil".

I felt her body shiver and she kind of jerked away. I walked away from her and went to go wake up Peyton sleeping beauty.

"Get up kid"

"No, no get off of me!"

I held her

"No Peyton its me Eva you're okay"

A tear fell from her eye, I wiped it away with my thumb

"It was another bad dream"

"Its okay your safe now Maya made us breakfast lets go eat"

I pushed her gently

"Okay just let me freshen up"

"Sure we'll be waiting downstairs"

I got up and walked back down to the kitchen.

Maya was sitting on the counter I instantly had a flashback to that night in the bathroom.

I walked over to her and pushed myself between her legs. She stared at me with her hazel eyes looking lost, and confused.

"I'm ready to be with you I don't care about Ben or the fact that I didn't even know that I liked girls I just want ..."

She stopped me by putting her index finger over my lips

"Shhhh.. stop talking and kiss me already"

I gave her a big smile and pulled her face close to mine I put my nose to hers and just gazed into her eyes then I kissed her.

Our lips moved together in sync and it felt amazing. Her lips were so tender I felt her tongue make entry into my mouth.

"Woah get a room you two"

Maya and I both jumped up I saw Peyton looking at us smiling. She grabbed a strip of bacon from the plate and put it in her mouth

"Mhm crispy just the way I like it".

We all laughed I said happily

"I think I'm ready to eat".
