I woke up wishing I was dead rather than alive because the pain that was shooting throughout my entire body didn't make life easy to live through.

I remembered parts of what happened last night. Like the smoke, and me collapsing but I don't remember how it all started.

I didn't bother moving around because I knew for a fact that I was tied up and with the burns all over my body I didn't want to move.

It was an empty warehouse I swear even my thoughts echoed throughout the room. There was crates and multiple doors everywhere and I was tied up to a metal pole.

When I coughed I felt the worst pain. It was horrible I needed to see a doctor immediately because I think smoke still filled my lungs.

I saw a figure approaching me when I looked closely it wasn't someone I recongized. This man was bulky and looked like he was in his mid thirties 'Where did Peyton meet these people?' Is what I quickly that to myself

"Get up!"

I looked at him as if he was stupid because I was obviously tied up

"If you haven't noticed I'm a little tied up"

I used my head to gesture towards the ropes that were currently tied around my wrists causing rope burn. He looked a bit surprised as if he didn't notice that I was not just hanging around here for fun.

He pulled out a switchblade from his pocket and quickly cut the ropes. Finally my hands were free and I rubbed them the palm of my right hand was burned badly. I remembered that from when I touched the door.

"Okay now get up!"

I thought for a second and everything that happened from this point surprised even me. I stood up and as the man turned his back I kicked him in the back of his leg causing him to fall down. While he attempted to get up I saw a piece of wood on the ground I grabbed it and sent a lethal blow to the back of his head.

I knew that he wasn't dead but just unconsicous because his chest was still pumping up and down but this saved me a lot of time. I searched through his pockets looking for a cellphone but no luck, I grabbed the switchblade and went on my way.
