"Mom and dad are thinking that maybe you should stay with dad"

"Why?!" I questioned.

"They think it's not healthy for you here"

"Stay there until I'm old enough to leave?"

"Well just for two months. So you can think"

"I-I don't want to though"

"Mom told me that and I think it's best. It's for your own good"

"First mom didn't trust me when I would visit my dad and now she wants me to go? They don't love me"

"Leyah stop being stupid. They are doing this for your own good"

I looked at him and looked back trying to hold the tears. "Fine" I said weakly. "They can do whatever they want but I'm leaving forever when I'm eighteen. I never want to see them"

"That's just crazy talk" my brother said getting up. But before he left he said this which made my feel a little bit better. "If you go I go" and he closed the door.

"It's over. No more crying" I said to myself.

Soon again there was a knock at my door and it was cameron.

"Can we talk?"

"Yea" I whispered letting him have room on my bed.

He sat down next to me and just looked at me with sympathy. "I-I don't want you to go"

"You heard?"

"Yes, they were talking while I was in the kitchen" he chuckled and so did I.

"We barely met. Why don't you want me to leave?"

"I want to get to know you better. I'm sorry about earlier though"

"It's fine. I'm over it"

"You know when I said, 'we're just friends nothing more than that'?"

"Yeah"

"I lied"

"What do you mean?"

"Leyah, I don't care what age you are. I know I had a girlfriend but, I'm developing feelings for you"

My eyes and my face and just everything went in shock. "You just fucking said it" I laughed. Then realized what he said.

"Had?"

"Yeah I broke up with her"

"You're lying"

"I'm not. I do love you"

"I don't believe you" I said getting up so I can lead out the door but he pushed me so we were inches apart.

He leaned in and so did I.

"Leyah come down here please!" I heard my mom yell.

We stopped and I chuckled looking down. "Goodnight Cameron"

I got up and walked to the door. I turned to see him smiling looking down.

Doofus.

I walked down stairs to see my mom glaring at then looked at me with sympathy.

"Did Jacob tell you?"

"Yes" I crossed my arms looking at her trying to not cry but failed with tears running slowly down my cheeks. "I can't believe you would do this"

"I'm doing it so you can be happy"

"You couldn't have least talked to me about it first instead of telling my dad shit?"

"Leyah-"

"No mom. I-I can never forgive you for this. Or dad"

"Leyah come here" she said trying to hug me.

"Don't touch me" I said with more tears coming down.

"I'm sorry"

"Sorry will never help this"

"Will your phone help?"

"Even if I wanted my phone back. You can keep it. My dad can but me a new one"

"That's ridiculous Leyah"

I laughed sarcastically. "Oh my god. Mom I'm not the only one ridiculous. You. Your. Ugh" I said with no words.

It was hard to explain it. I walked upstairs and slammed the door of my room.

I noticed Cameron was gone so I went to bed and slept.

Hopefully tomorrow is a good day.
