-last day of school-

It's been one week. Kyle hadn't been having contact with me and everyone else just gives me sympathetic looks.

I have been a mess and right now I'm in my first period watching a movie while eating Hot Cheetos waiting for the bell to ring to go home.

I looked around the room seeing people going on their phone or just talking about how senior year would be.

It hurt knowing that I won't be here making memories with my closest friends on my last year of basically being a kid.

I'm planning on going to college to go live somewhere, here all this bullshit won't be.

My thoughts snapped as Angelina sat in front of me looking like a mess.

I looked at her straight in the eyes about to say something but tears started coming out her eyes.

"Ley, I'm really going to miss you" She tried drying her tears. I mean we have known each other since six grade.
--
"Hey Leyah" Angelina called from the big long tree that was in front of the school.

"What's up?" I asked while climbing on the tree succeeding on not getting blisters on my skin.

"I need to tell you something. But you need to promise you won't tell anyone"

"Okay" I smiled.

"Remember when we were 7 you bought us matching bracelets?"

"Yeah" I said slowly.

"The vacuum ate mine" she giggled as I glared at her.

"Are you kidding me? That cost me ten bucks. You know how hard a 10 year old has to get through chores and everything for bracelets?"

"No" she mumbled.

"Did you lose the necklace I gave you?"

"No, I'll always keep it. And I won't that vacuum eat the necklace"

I laughed and so did she.

We looked around our surroundings. "Promise me we will always be best friends" I said looking at her.

"We better be best friends because if we aren't it's not meant to be"

"I will never forget you" I said hugging Angelina.

"I'll never forget you to Leyah"
--
The memory came over me and as it clipped over me. As I looked into Angelina's eyes I could see that she was also having that memory.

"I still have the necklace" she smiled.

I laughed as I dried my tears. "Please don't ever break that promise. FaceTime. Call. Text. When I come back I want to see the happy you that you have always been"

She stuttered while laughing. "Senior year won't be the same with out you"

"I'm thinking of being homeschooled"

"Really? That's good. I know how your anxiety is when you come across strangers"

I chuckled. "Yeah. Just tell Kyle that I love him. So much" My lips trembled just thinking and imagining how mad he was with me.

The sound of the movie stopped and the teacher started talking. "Okay class have a good summer just stay here till the bell rings"

"Ugh, Finally" the brat named Natalie said fixing her high skirt.
