I woke up this morning with 5 text messages from Cameron.

*Hey sorry I ruined the date. I'll make it up next time.

*Leyuh please don't ignore me:(

*Leyuh I really want to hear your voice.

*good morning beautiful can we talk?

(That last one was the first one he sent)

I replied back with him to come over later

I went to go eat breakfast to get ready for work.

Dennys was the last place I want to go for work.

There are so many customers there who complain about how their food is way too cold.

If you don't like it, why bother come to the restaurant?

-Cameron's Pov-

"Pammy please don't ever call this number" I told her through the phone. She kept calling me and I'm sick and tired of it.

"Cameron just please, can we talk again? I really need to straighten things out"

"Pammy I don't ever want to see you again"

"Just this once. And you won't here from me"

"Fine" I sighed. I could tell her smile was wide.

"Meet me at Dennys 10 o'clock. I heard they have good pancakes" she chuckled.

I couldn't help but chuckle back. Like I said she was kinda contagious when you're around her.

"Fine, I'll see you then"

-Leyuh's Pov-

I got the cash register ready as I heard the bell ring signaling a presence was here.

"Welcome to Denn-" I looked up and saw Cameron with a random girl.

His expression was probably the said as mine but mine was worse.

Maybe she's just family I told myself giving myself hope.

"Table for two?" I asked just looking at Cameron with hurt in my eyes but soon went away as I gave myself hope.

'Sorry' he mouthed and that ruined my hope.

I turned as the girl snapped her fingers in my face.

"Ma'am there is a saying, 'you can look but you can't touch' but you really need to stop starring at my man"

Your man?

"I'm sorry ms." I smiled. "I'm sorry I looked at 'your man' " I turned to walk over to a table trying to hold back angry tears.

"Here" I put the menus on the table as I quickly walked over to the employee's room.

I breathed out and out trying to calm myself down.

What really hurt more was that he didn't even bother to go after me.
-----
-Cameron's Pov-

"I'm not your man" I growled at her. "And never will"

She looked up from her menu and gave me the look that always drove me wild.

"I want you to remember that I won't stop till I have you" she put her hand on top of mine.

"So you guys ready to order?" I heard the most beautiful voice giving sniffles out which brought me back to reality.

Great timing.

I swatted her hand away from me as I gave Leyuh a sympathetic look.

"It's looks like you've been crying" Pammy looked at her crazy.

"Pammy"

"You guys ready to order?" She repeated.

"I'll have a chocolate shake" Pammy ordered.

"I'll have a sprite"

"Are you guys ready for food?"

"I'll have the eggs, bacon, and pancakes because I'm not a waffles person" Pammy smiled.

"Do you want any sausages?"

"Sweetheart, I told you what I wanted and if I have to repeat myself to the poor petty people then I will. But it will get you fired"

She stopped writing down on her notes and just looked at her.

She bent down to be faced to face with her.

"So no Sausage?" She said not wanting to say anything that she will regret.

She got up and asked me.

"I'll have the same as hers. No sausage. Can I talk to you for a moment?" I asked as Pammy looked at me as if I was crazy.

I am.

I'm crazy for Leyuh. But I don't show it.

"I'm going to give her lectures on how to be more nice" I lied. This wasn't a very good lie.

I pulled leyuh as she struggled trying to yanked her hand off her arm.

We entered this storage room that was completely dark.

-leyuh's Pov-

"Hey can we talk?" Cameron asked quietly feeling his hot breath on my neck.

We were so close because of how small it was.

"Cameron I need to go" I tried opening the door but I couldn't, he was in my way.

"No, you can't keep running away from your problems Leyuh"

"Cameron" I tried saying something else but couldn't because I was so sad. "You were with another girl. She said you were hers" I cried into his chest.

"I'm sorry. Look I can explain later but she's waiting for me. She doesn't mean anything to me but she gets really clingy with me"

"Go Cameron, I'll be fine. Just go" I sniffled.

"I'm really sorry" He gave me sad look and walked away.

In my mind I thought, if he really loves me he wouldn't care about the girl, he would stay with me and tell me every single thing he liked about me.

But no he walked away leaving me and I allowed him to go.
