Fourty-four

I went home feeling so horrible and wrecked.

My mind tells me to break up with him but my heart tells me the opposite.

I walked over to the kitchen to go get water for it to calm me down.

I drank it as I heard a knock at my door.

I went to go open it.

"What do you want?" I asked the last person I want to see right now.

"Can I please come in?" She asked as I let her.

"Alyssa, this is really not a good time"

"Same for me. Have you heard about Pammy?"

Sounds familiar.

"I really don't know" I said truthfully.

"Pammy is Cameron's ex-girlfriend. She hung out with him today and I need to tell you something"

I remembered. "Yeah they went to my job. What is it?"

"She is trying to take your man!"

"Yeah I know that" I sighed.

"No, she will do anything to get Cameron back. She'll even try death"

"Oh come on, That Pammy bitch won't do anything. I'm not scared of her"

"Just please keep an eye on yourself"

"Why are you helping me?" I asked. "It's not even your business"

"Yeah I know but she hates me to. She had tried all of these horrible things to me and I'm lucky to even be here"

"Thank you for the heads up but I'm going to be fine" I chuckled. "And if she wants to have a fight. Let's do it"

"I have to go I just wanted to stop by"

"Okay?" I said as she walked past me closing the door. I felt confused.

I'm not scared of this Pammy girl.

-Cameron's Pov-

'Please pick up' I told myself as I quickly tapped on my phone as I held it to my ear.

"Hey it's Leyuh, sorry I couldn't pick up busy. Leave me a message bye" she laughed as the voice mail box ended.

"Ugh" I groaned throwing the phone across my car.

I turned the engine on as I started driving over to her house.

"Leyuh open this door" I knocked again and again and again.

I swear I think we do this routine every time we get into a fight.

I walked over to the statue frog and the key wasn't there.

I searched more and more as I finally found it.

Obvious. Under the matt.

I dangled the key to the knob as I came in.

I walked to the couch seeing her sleeping covering herself with a blanket.

Her beautiful face was full of black stuff under her eyes.

This girl is not a light sleeper. I dig that about her.

"Leyuh" I shook her as she inhaled opening her eyes. "Hey baby, I came to visit you"

"Cameron" she got up covering herself with the blanket. "We need to talk"

"Anything, you can tell me anything" I hugged her feeling so loved by her.

"I don't think we can work" she said slowly not looking at me in the eyes.

"Leyuh, please don't talk silly" I chuckled trying to hold back the tears. I really love this girl.

"Two of your exes are in town and I feel so vulnerable-"

"Hey" I put my hands on her shoulders. "They were in the past. I'm with you and that's what matters. I don't want to be with anyone else but you"

"Cameron-"

"Here me out. You are the most beautiful, understandable, and loyal girlfriend who I'm grateful to have"

She couldn't help but smile. "I'm sorry Cameron, I'm just starting to get tired of this"

"We can get through this. We always do"

I leaned in giving her the most passionate kiss.

-Leyah's Pov-

"I love you" I said in between kisses pulling him towards me. "I love you" I said once more as he chuckled saying it back.

I felt something vibrate and Cameron stood up breaking the kiss.

"Pammy just texted me"

I pushed him off of me rolling my eyes.

"What does she want?" I asked annoyed.

"She wants to meet up with me. And you know what I told her to stay away from me and I'm going over to put her in her place. She needs to understand that I'm with you"

"Cameron just go" I stopped his blabbering.

"I'll be back" He leaned to kiss my neck.

Was our conversation even mean anything earlier?

He closed the door as I sighed getting up finding my phone to order take out.

Huge take out.

It's going to be one of those nights.
