Thirty-six

-leyuh's pov-

It was oddly quiet and I sat the not touching my food.

"So" Alyssa spoke. "You don't like my food leyuh?"

"No I do, but I'm not hungry" I looked at my food then to Cameron.

"The food was really good" Cameron smiled to Alyssa.

"I'm going up to my room" he got up from the table walking away.

I look down at my lap.

"Is everything okay?" Alyssa asked.

"Everything's fine I guess"

"Hey, even tho were not at a good start, I'm not a bad person"

"It's about Cameron"

"Well yeah, there was a lot of tension here"

"So what happened between you two?"

"I really like him but this whole relationship now, it's like family"

"You guys can still date. You guys aren't blood related and if you guys don't consider yourselves as brothers and sisters then everything's going to be okay"

"Will it be awkward?"

"Unless you make it"

"I don't know"

"Why don't you go upstairs and I'll go for a 'long' walk. No one is home so no one will question why you're here"

"Why are you helping me?"

"I thought about it and I want to start fresh with you and start to be at least nice"

I smiled. "Thank you Alyssa"

"No problem" she stood up. "I'm going for a walk" she smiled and so did I.

I walked upstairs to knock on my- Cameron's door.

"Alyssa?" I heard through the door.

"No. It's Leyuh"

I quickly heard foot steps as he unlocked his door and opened it.

"Can we talk?"

"Yeah sure" he swung it open sitting on the bed and so did I.

I looked around the room.

"I miss this place now"

"What? This room?"

"Yeah" I sighed.

"Why?"

"Because you're in it. Listen I came here to talk about last night"

"It's fine. You think of me as your brother. Just another family member"

"No, I came here to apologize for every stupid thing I did and said"

"I'm sorry to. I kinda wanted us to be something real. You know...official"

"Me to!" My eyes lit up. "Cameron, I want us to be something true. More than friends. I want to start over with you. I want this to work"

"So what are you asking?" He smiled knowing the answer.

"Cameron" I took his hand. "Will you be my boyfriend?"

"No" he laughed. "Just kidding"

I punched him in the arm. "You're so mean" I laughed and so did he.

Our laughs slowly dialed down and we looked into each others eyes leaning in and giving each other a long passionate kiss.
