"Lina, I'm sorry but it's over!" I yelled as she starting hitting walls.

"Why Cameron. Everything turned out to be okay. I promise I won't be nosy. Just please"

"You don't trust me. At first I thought this would be the girl I would spend with for the rest of my life"

"You bitch" she ran to me and slapped me across the face.

"Stop!" I got her arms.

"Ow, Cameron you're hurting me"

"I'm barely touching you. At that's the farthest and last time I touch you"

"Why don't you like me anymore?" She cried as I let her go.

"Because you're a psycho bitch!"

"No, it's called being you're girlfriend"

"Crazy EX girlfriend"

"Oh so you're just going to leave it like that?"

"Yes, please Lina get out of my apartment. I'm done with you"

"Fine" she said getting her stuff. "But you will miss me"

"Sure" I said as she slammed the door. I sighed a bog long sigh.

I sat down on the couch when suddenly my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey bro, so I was wondering what time should we leave?"

"Jacob, what are you talking about?"

"What time are we going to leave to visit my mom and dad"

"Our mom and dad. On Saturday right?"

"Yeah what time"

"Well the flight is at 9:20 so around 8 is when we should get up and go"

"Okay. Oh one more thing, have you talked to Leyah yet?"

"No why? How does she look?"

"Dude I saw a picture of her and I can honestly say that my little sister has been through good puberty"

"Can't believe that's she's my half sister"

"Glad we're a family. Aye I gotta go and pack"

"It's Thursday"

"3 weeks we're staying there"

"Yeah but you still have tomorrow"

"Listen I gotta go"

"Bye" he said and hung up.

I wonder how leyah is.

I wonder what she is doing?
Dating? Married? Partying?

I decided to call the number I have from 3 years ago.

I hope It's the same number.

"Fuck" I sighed hanging up.

🍑Leyah's Pov🍑

"Dad be careful with the bed I don't want to ruin my floor"

"Sweetheart it's-" then I heard a scratch.

"Ugh, dad" I groaned. Looking and seeing where it was at. "Dad I told you to be careful"

"Well sorry I'm human"

"Dad you obviously didn't care"

"Well maybe I don't"

I stopped and stood up looking at him into his eyes. "What are you saying?"

"Maybe I don't care of you leaving. Maybe I don't care about my little girl growing up too fast" he teared up.

"Dad" my voice cracked. "I'm 20. And I'm sure I can go on my own. I'm ready"

"But I'm not"

I ran up to him to hug him.

I've never seen my dad like this. He was always strong. And he always taught me how to stay strong.

That's why I'm not crying right now. And I regret that...

"Dad, I'm 5 minutes away. 10 minute walk. Or 1 hour walk if I want Starbucks and Panera on the way"

He chuckled. "Well don't run in the streets"

I laughed. "I'll try"

"Well I'll leave you to put the rest of the things away"

"Okay, I love you dad"

"Love you to. Tell Angie to come, she's outside with Layla"

"Okay" I smiled as he walked away.

I walked to my window and opened it to see Layla slightly touching the water with her foot, as Angie is looking at the beautiful view.

Putting one hand on the back small fence, as she looks out the mountains.

"Angie, dad's leaving"

She turned around and smiled. "come Layla"

"I'll walk you guys out" I walked out of the room meeting them.

"So when are you getting furniture?"

"Probably next week. Once I get my pay check"

"Why can't your dad just pay?"

"Angie, he's done enough for me my whole life. I need to grow up and learn responsibility"

"Well, I'll visit you another day. You already know how to cook right?"

"You taught me so yeah" I chuckled and so did she.

"Come on Layla" Angie said grabbing her hand.

"Bye Leyah" she waved.

"Bye brat" I walked with them as I closed the door and locked it.

I turned around to face my house. My very own house.

Well... Penthouse.

I sighed. "Finally, I start to grow up"

Fuck I'm going to get scared at night. I thought.
