-Leyah's Pov-

So far the mall went well on applying.

Victoria Secret, the Adidas store, and the Vans store only gave me the the applications.

I felt sad because I went into 10 stores and only got to three.

I kept searching out of the mall and nothing.

I drove home feeling exhausted.

I walked inside and felt my phone vibrate. I looked at the caller ID and it was Angie.

"Hey Angie, I'm sorry I couldn't do those errands with you. I was looking for jobs"

"Oh it's fine sweetheart I took care of them. But thanks anyways. Listen we're doing a family dinner tomorrow, can you come?"

"Uh yeah, I can" I laughed.

"How many applications did you fill in?"

"I looked at ten, but only got to three. But Denny's is thinking about it. I gave them my number and hopefully they give me job application"

"Let's wait and see if you can get at least one. I know you'll do great once you get a job"

"Yeah let's just hope, I really need to get one because I don't want dad to keep paying my bills"

"You're dad is a lawyer he can give you anything you want"

"It's not about the money Angie. You know I'm not like that"

"Yea I know. So how are you and Cameron? I didn't see you two at the party for a long time"

"We caught up with some stuff. We're just friends. Good friends"

"Oh that's great. That means it's official"

"What's official?" I laughed.

"Oh you didn't know? Cameron and Alyssa are officially talking" she said happily.

Unlike me. I was pretty sad about it. Jealous even. I thought I didn't have feelings for him but now I don't know.

"Alyssa the girl who I saw earlier today?"

"In the morning?"

"Yeah" I laughed.

"Oh her and Cameron made up with some stuff" she laughed.

"What do you mean" I laughed as well trying to play it off by not being mad.

"I know you shouldn't here this especially from his own mother but they were really loud all night and all morning"

Sex?!

"Hey Angie, I gotta go. I'm going to make dinner"

"Oh all by yourself? Make sure you leave room for tomorrow. Oh and Alyssa's coming to meet the family"

"Is that why we're making a family dinner?"

"Yeah"

Great....

"Okay bye Angie" I hung up quickly feeling a tear roll down my cheek.

I quickly wiped it off as I felt my heart beat more and more tears fell out.

I guess he's over me.

He lied to me saying how he would never give up on me.

'But it's for the best' I reminded myself. 'He needs to get over me'

I put on my red cardigan as I put on perfume.

I looked pretty decent for a family dinner and I had very much high anxiety about it.
