"Well, do you want leyah's room?" Mom asked looking very awkwardly.

"Why doesn't Jacob get the room?"

"Yes or no." She said sternly.

"Fine" I said. "Where is it?"

"Upstairs to your left. Now I'm going to finish dinner" she walked off.

I walked up stairs to the room and to see everything so empty.

I looked around. Opening the drawers seeing everything empty.

I could smell that one perfume she would always wear. Sounds creepy but she would put way too much.

"You sure you want to stay here in this room? Are you comfortable?" Mom asked.

"Yea I'm fine it's just, I don't know if Jacob is okay with me staying in her room"

"Why would Jacob not be fine with you staying in this room? Leyah doesn't live here anymore"

"Never mind mom, I'll start putting my stuff"

"Get going. 2 weeks is going to be a long time" she laughed.

It sure is.

"Well I'll leave you packing. I'm going to get you guys ready for dinner"

The door bell rang and I slowly walked up to it scared if it was, you know who.

I looked through the peep hole and realized it was Jacob.

I quickly opened the door and hugged him immediately. "Jacob I missed you"

"Missed you to" he chuckled.

I let go of him. "So?" He asked.

"So what?"

"Aren't you going to let me in?"

"Oh sorry" I let him go further to the house.

"Sit. Make yourself at home. You want something to drink?"

"No thanks. Here come sit"

"So how's everyone at home? Mom? How is she?" I asked.

"I know you worry about mom but here's the real question you want. How's Cameron? Why didn't he come? He is still dating his girlfriend from 3 years ago?"

"No, the real question is, how did you know where I live?"

"Mom"

Of course.

"But if you want to tell me about Cameron you can"

"Leyah he's your step bro-"

"I know" I interupted him. "Gosh, Cameron and step brother don't sound good together"

"Leyah, do you still like him?"

"As a friend? Yea"

"No, I know you and him were a little thing"

"Jacob!" I yelled. "Why are you asking me about Cameron? I haven't seen you in 3 years and this is what your asking? Just be glad I'm still talking to you guys"

"I'm sorry Leyah, but I care for you and you need to understand that whatever happens with you and Cameron stays as friends or Brothers and sisters"

I cringed at the thought of that sentence he said. "Jacob if you're going to keep asking me questions like that then just leave. I'll see you tomorrow"

"Leyah you can't keep running away from your problems. And I'm sorry if I made you mad. I didn't want this to start off bad"

"It's okay Jacob. But I really think you need to go. I need sleep"

"Leyah, what have you been doing? Sleeping?" He chuckled. "I thought you would party all day and sleep till 5 in the morning"

"I'm grown up Jacob" I glared at him.

"Okay, cranky pants I'm leaving now" he threw his hands up in defense.

"Bye Jacob. Sorry for such a short visit" I fake smiled. Gosh this is why I moved out. These people irritate me.

"You really haven't changed a bit haven't you Leyah?"

"Shut up. Bye" I closed the door as he finally left.

Ugh, I'm done for the day. Can't wait for tomorrow.
