As Put on lotion and perfume, I got a text message from Angie.

Hey hurry up, people are already coming and I need my main girl here:)

I smiled as she put main girl. Adults these days. But I'm 19 not 21 yet.

Coming, already in the car;)

As I walked into the back yard I immediately regretted seeing the first person I laid my eyes on.

Cameron.

The look on his face was priceless.

I walked over to Angie's table where it was all the way across from Camerons' and said hi to everyone.

There wasn't much to talk about with the people around the table. There would be side convo's but most of the time I would check my phone for the time when they would cut the cake.

I glanced over to my left and saw Cameron walking inside. "I'm going to go get soda" I told the person who was talking about her business. I guess that's Angie's cousin.

I'm new at this.

I walked inside to see Cameron filling up his cup with water.

"No margaritas tonight?" I grabbed a soda.

"No, it's a kids party. Can't have fun" he sipped his water.

"That's true." I opened my soda.

"So how's college?" He leaned against the kitchen counter and turned towards me.

I chuckled as he asked the same question I told him to ask me earlier.

"It's been good actually. 2nd year going really good"

"What are you studying?"

"Nursing"

He nodded.

"Yeah, really wanted to do that since I was a kid. How about you"

"I tried study arts but didn't work"

"I never really asked you about that when you came to the house"

"3 years ago" he laughed.

"Yeah, when I was a kid"

"You still are a kid"

"I'm 19 Cameron"

"Still a teen"

I laughed. "And how old are you?"

"23"

"Ah yes, four years apart huh"

"Yea. Hey is this party boring? I saw you and by the way you look amazing" he grabbed my waist putting his forehead against mine.

"Yes, this party is boring but it's not bad"

"What if we both leave this place and go somewhere fun. You've never shown me your new place"

"Nice try" I pushed him off of me. "But yes I would love to get out of here"

"Let's go in your car?"

"Yeah" I smiled grabbing my purse where I left it.

"Wait, what if they need us?"

"They won't suspect anything not if your Aunts talks to her"

"Yea, I guess you realized how talkative they talk"

"Yea" I sighed. "You ready?"

"You lead the way"

I smiled as I walked outside.

Then I realized I had no idea where we were going.

"I really don't know where to go. Have any suggestions?"

"Your house"

I glared at him.

"Sorry" he put his hands up in defense. "I think I might know a place"

"Alright you drive"

As I got in the car, I realized 'what was I doing?' 'What did I just get myself into?'

I just know it's going to be a lot of stops to the gas stations.

Really really long drive.
