Thirty-nine

-leyah's Pov-

"Ugh" I said growling as I stretched myself.

I heard footsteps coming through the hallway.

"Good you're up" shirtless Cam came in with a bottle and water. "Drink this" he handed me advil and the water.

"What happened last night?" I felt my head pounding.

Cameron walked to the window opening the curtains exposing the sun.

"Agh" I growled my head pounding even more and my eyes watering up from so much pain.

"You got drunk last night and I'm not happy about it"

"Well what did I do?"

"You were so drunk and you got stoned" he sat next to me.

"Please close the curtains"

"No, it's such a beautiful day to go outside. Oh wait you're too much of a bad hangover"

I got up quickly closing the curtains and sat back down in my bed.

"I swear Cameron, I didn't want to go but it was too late and even if I could get out I couldn't"

"What's your friends name?"

"Oh, huh Elena. She's a really sweet person but she pushes you into things"

"If you felt uncomfortable why didn't you tell me to pick you up. I could have been a party pooper but it's better to keep you safe"

"Cameron I can make my own decisions"

"Not what happened yesterday. Your friend seems really-"

"Reckless?" I finished off his sentence.

"Yeah, please be careful Leyuh"

"I know. And it was my first party since a very long time. It was actually pretty fun at first then I blanked out after"

"Yeah you said some pretty interesting things yesterday" he chuckled.

"What did I say?"

"Nothing important"

"Did you pick me up?" I asked.

"Yeah, and I dressed you into bed but that was hard because you wanted to do something more"

"Cameron?!" I panicked. "We didn't do anything right?"

"No, I would never take advantage of you"

"Thank you Cameron" I kissed his cheek.

"Now go freshen up because I made breakfast for you" he stood.

"Wait Cameron" I grabbed his arm. "Thank you for taking care of me last night"

"I wouldn't leave you alone in that place"

I chuckled and so did he.

I walked to the bathroom and freshened up.

I smiled at the thought of him caring for me.

But I wonder what I said to him?

I shook that thought off my head and brushed my teeth.

I thought about doing something for him tomorrow in return.

"Cameron?" I got up from the couch as he put his phone away. "Can we stop watching movies and go do something fun?"

"What you don't like Christmas movies?"

"It's not that, it's almost night time and I really want to do something fun"

"Well like what?" scooted closer to me.

"Like go to the beach while the sunset is still there or camp at the beach or at least something fun"

"Or maybe we can stay here where it's warm"

"Who cares if it's cold outside" I laughed.

His phone vibrated. "Leyuh, I have to go. Jacob needs me right now" he said standing up"

"What happened to Jacob?" I asked concered.

"He didn't tell you?"

"No"

"He's going to propose to his girlfriend and right now he asked if I could help him with looking for the perfect ring"

"That's cute" I smiled. "Hey can you come by tomorrow night, I want to do something for you"

"Okay, you don't have to do anything for me" I grinned.

"I'm not asking I'm telling you"

"Okay, love you" he kissed me.

"Bye" I said closing the door as he walked out.

I turned around and thought what I was going to make for food.
