(Leyah's Pov)

I woke up the next day smelling the smell of good pancakes.

I got up and walked over to Jake making breakfast.

Cameron would always do that.

I smiled at the thought until I was snapped out of it by Jake's voice.

"Are you smiling of how cute I'm being?"

"Sure" I smiled while grabbing a chair to sit.

I heard my phone ring so I went to go get it.

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Hey Leyah" Angie's voice came up.

"Hey Angie what's up?"

"Later today we're going to have a barbecue because the super bowls are coming (i know it's not but for the sale of this book) do you and Jake want to join?"

"Hold on" I put hand over the microphone of the phone. "Hey do you want to come over to my dad's house to get eat and have a barbecue?" I asked as he nodded.

"Yeah what time?"

"4:30"

"Okay we'll be there. Bye" I said hanging up.

"So we're leaving at 5" I said not wanting to come at the exact time.

"Cool" he said serving me some pancakes.

"You know a friend I knew served more food than this" I giggled while eating the pancakes.

"Well who was that friends name?"

"No one important. We're not friends anymore. At least I think"

He nodded while continuing to eat his pancakes.

Oh no Cameron might be there...

I starred down at my phone wanting to text Angie that we're tired from yesterday.

And thought, I need to start spending time with the family and Jake needs to start as well.

"I'm happy that we're starting to spend time with your family. It's not like my family ever does these types of things" he looked up at me as if he was reading my mind.

"I'm happy to" I smiled while starting to dig in my pancakes.

"I really like the photo we took. I'm sad that I didn't bleach my hair before the wedding. It looks good on me" I said as be smiled. "Why that shirt?" I giggled looking at the photo.

"It has my favorite shoe there" he smiled while continuing to watch the road. "You sure you don't want to stop by to get something?"

"No, I'm sure they have everything. They are having a super bowl hang out so we're good"
