Chapter 21: The Break Down

(Shindong) 

        "I'm worried about him." Shindong sighed unhappily as Kibum walked away from them. They were still in the Hovercraft and they were only 5 minutes away from District 13, "Kibum. And Heechul too." 

        "There's no reason that you shouldn't be worried," Kyuhyun told him, "I mean, look at Kibum, he's so set on having revenge, he doesn't even think about anything else, he doesn't care about life anymore." 

        Ryeowook shook his head sadly, "I remember when we first met him." Ryeowook said, "Sweet, happy face, a bright smile, even though he was about to go into the arena, he was still happy. But once he got into the arena, he got fiercer, he didn't even smile anymore. I think what started it was the threat the President made, about turning our families into avoxes, because he changed after his family was threatened. And then when Sungmin loved Yesung and they both died.... I can't even imagine how much pain he's in. He said that Heechul and Henry understand him," Ryeowook continued, "But the truth is that they don't, the people they lost loved them back, but the person Kibum loved .... he loved someone else." 

        "What about Siwon?" Shindong asked, "He didn't have someone he liked like that, did he?" 

      "Hangeng. They acted really close during training, and Siwon told me himself too," Kyuhyun said, "But Hangeng liked Heechul." 

        "Hold it!" Shindong raised his hands, indicating that everyone should stop talking, "So Siwon like Hangeng, and Hangeng and Heechul like each other, and Leeteuk likes Heechul and Kangin likes Leeteuk?" 

        "From what I noticed and heard...yeah." Kyuhyun admitted. 

        "That's more than a love triangle..." Shindong muttered, "It's a..." 

        "A love pentagon? A love hexagon? Yea I guess you could call it that." Kyuhyun said, an annoying smile on his face. 

        "Stop!" Ryeowook said, lightly hitting his arm, "It's not funny! It's just sad..." he started to tear up.

        "I'm sorry baby I won't joke about things like that anymore." Kyuhyun promised. 

        "Things like what?" Kibum asked, reappearing with a cup of coffee in his hand. 

        "Nothing." Kyuhyun said quickly. 

        "Well if it's nothing then you better get ready, we're landing in District 13."

(Kibum)

        "Back into the hovercraft." Shindong told Kibum angrily once they had taken over the District, "Seriously Kibum! How could you be so cruel? I don't believe you!" 

        "That boy called me gay." Kibum said blankly, "And he called me stupid for loving a boy like Sungmin. That was what he said, a boy like that." 

        "And I'm guessing you got mad about the Sungmin part, right? Not the part where he called you gay and stupid? Kibum you need to care more about yourself!" Shindong continued to scold him. 

        "He said he used to hit Sungmin." Kibum said, that blank look was still on his face, "He bullied my Minnie. He deserved to get hitten-" 

      "You would have killed him if I hadn't stopped you in time! You were about to shoot him! And he was just a guy our age! Not even a peacekeeper!" Shindong threw his arms up into the air, "For God's sake!" 

        "He bullied Sungmin! Don't you care about Sungmin?" Kibum said, tears forming in the corner's of his eyes. 

        Ryeowook, who was watching, put his arms around Kibum, "Just cry Bummie." he said, "You need to cry. Don't bottle it up anymore."
