Chapter 53: Zhoumi's Secret

Kibum felt dizzy with relief when Heechul ended President Kim Youngmin's life with a loud bang. But there was still Kyungsoo.

"You." Kris said, tying Kyungsoo up, "Are under arrest."

"For what?" Kyungsoo snarled back, struggling.

"For murder."

"And my sentence is?"

"That will be decided later. We will take a vote tomorrow on whether or not you want Lay as your new President."

"Oh please, any person in their right mind wouldn't want a high unicorn like him as President!" But apparently everyone disagreed with him, for they began shouting, "We want Yixing! We want Yixing!"

But then another chant came out, just as loud as the one for Yixing, "We want Leeteuk! We want Leeteuk!"

"Two president's then?" Lay asked Leeteuk with a smile as Kris hauled Kyungsoo away.

"Oh no! I couldn't just take away that position from you! You deserve it!" Leeteuk offered generously.

"They want the both of us." Lay said, beaming, "So let's have them vote tomorrow as planned then, who gets less votes will be Vice President, deal?"

"Deal!" and they shook on it.

And there was still Taemin and Kai left, shivering with fear of what their punishment would be.

"Don't be frightened." Lay said to them kindly, "You never wanted this, you were just forced to. We won't hurt you."

"R-really?" Kai trembled.

"Yes." Lay said with a smile, "We'll take care of you, don't worry, you too Taemin."

"And my friends?" Taemin's voice rose ridiculously high.

"Who are your friends?" Lay asked.

"Jonghyun, Key, Sulli, Krystal, Victoria, and Luna. Jonghyun was Siwon's stylist and Key, Sulli and Krystal were his prep team. Luna and Victoria were escorts."

"I remember Victoria, she was nice." Heechul said, remembering that she had been the one to look after him when he was reaped.

"Luna was my escort, she was really cute!" Ryeowook said.

"Alright then, of course we'll take care of them, they never did anything wrong." Lay agreed.

It seemed that everything would be alright.

People began to find shelter, and Taemin and Kai took them to meet their friends in the training center. Dreadful memories flooded into Heechul's mind as he entered the place, but he followed along without a fuss.

They found Jonghyun and his crew hiding under the dining room table, they were all shivering and crying, all except Victoria and Luna, who were trying to make the best of the situation. When they saw the tributes walking in with Taemin and Kai they got even more frightened until Taemin cleared it up.

"Luna!!" Ryeowook greeted her happily.

"Ryeowook!" She greeted back.

"Oh I'm so glad you're alright!" Victoria blurted out.

"Don't get too over excited again Vic, it's not good for your condition." Luna said sternly before clapping a hand over her mouth, realizing that she had let out a secret.
