(Ryeowook)

However, they did not go to see Jaejoong the next day, due to the fact that Kibum, exhausted from all the crying, slept all day. And Ryeowook stayed with him.

Finally, on the third day, Kibum whispered to Ryeowook that he had changed his mind and had no intention of ever going to see his father again. Ryeowook nodded, respecting Kibum's wished. He kind of understood why Kibum felt resentful towards his father, his father hadn't even bothered to look for him when he had disappeared.

Suddenly, Kibum spoke again, "It's okay Ryeowook...just go be with Kyuhyun, you don't have to look after me 24/7."

"But-" Ryeowook protested, he wanted to be there for Kibum.

"Go." Kibum insisted weakly, "Go be with Kyuhyun for a night and two."

"I'll come back after one night, okay?" Ryeowook still did not like the idea of leaving Kibum alone. Sure, there were more of them, but Ryeowook felt responsible, and he was aware that he put Kibum at ease, everyone felt more comfortable to cry in front of him.

"Go on." Kibum smiled before going back to sleep.

Ryeowook rearranged the pillows on the bed a bit before leaving, but instead of going to find Kyuhyun like Kibum had told him to (Kyuhyun had gone down to get some food), Ryeowook headed to Jaejoong's room, he did not hesitate to knock loudly and when Jaejoong asked who it was, Ryeowook shouted out, "Kibum's friend, Ryeowook!"

Ryeowook waited for a minute before Jaejoong opened the door for him, "Kim Ryeowook." Jaejoong said simply.

Ryeowook followed Jaejoong into the room and sat down on the chair across from Jaejoong's, "And why have you decided to pay me a visit?" Jaejoong asked.

"I came for Kibum." Ryeowook said.

        "He is not here."

"That's not what a meant." The two men stared at each other, Ryeowook met Jaejoong's gaze with a blazing light in his eyes.

"What do you want to say?" Jaejoong asked, still not lowering his gaze.

"I want to ask you why you never looked for him." Ryeowook continued to look Jaejoong in the eye, unwilling to weaken.

"Who are you to delve into my family business?" Jaejoong asked rudely.

"I am Kibum's friend and hyung, who loves him a lot more than you do." Ryeowook answered calmly.

        "Why, how dare you-"

"Sir, if you think I will run away crying because of your attitude, then you have obviously judged me from what you saw of me in the Games." Ryeowook glared, "I am different now."

Jaejoong lowered his gaze, ashamed, "Very well."

        "Tell me." Ryeowook commanded.

"His grandfather, my brother-in-law, wrote a letter to me saying that if I tried to look for my son, he would kill the boy."

Ryeowook froze, he could not believe this, "Is there any proof?" he demanded.

"Here." Jaejoong thrust a piece of paper at him, it was yellow and crumpled with age.

Kim Jaejoong,

I will keep this short, I assure you that your son is safe and being taken care of well. If you try to look for him, there will be consequences, and I will kill the boy.

"Isn't it signed?" Ryeowook asked, "How do I know you didn't write this yourself?"

        "You have my word."

Ryeowook studied the man for a moment and decided that he was telling the truth, "I believe you." he said simply, "But do you know this man's name?"

Jaejoong nodded, "You also could've asked Tao or Kris this question."

"They're both busy lately." Ryeowook said, which was kind of true, Tao had locked himself into his room and was writing so many letters to Ryeowook didn't even know who. And Kris....Ryeowook didn't even see Kris anymore, he assumed that Kris was with Lay.

"His name..." a pained expression came onto Jaejoong's face, he did not want to say the name of the man who had destroyed his family, "Was ... Kim Juhyun."

"Then why is Tao's surname chinese?" Ryeowook frowned.

"Tao," Jaejoong took a deep breath, "Tao was adopted."

Ryeowook felt like someone had hit his head, "How do you know this?" he demanded.

"Taeyeon told me." Jaejoong said mournfully.

"So Kibum and Tao aren't really related?" Ryeowook concluded.

"Not by blood, no, but Taeyeon and Tao loved each other even more than blood related siblings. I hope," Jaejoong continued, "That you will befriend Tao, that boy is like Kibum, he needs a lot of love."

"How do you know?" Ryeowook could also sense that Tao was hurting, he hoped that Jaejoong would be able to give him answers on this too.

"I can just feel it." Jaejoong shook his head sadly, "Anything else?"

"Yeah," Ryeowook said, "Did you really believe that Kibum would win? Not Yesung?"

Jaejoong smiled sadly, "I did, Yesung was not a fierce person, I truly think Kibum could win."

"Thank you." Ryeowook got up and bowed his head politely, "Good bye."

        "Ryeowook?" Jaejoong called.

        "Yes?"

"Tell Kibum to visit me soon, and tell him....tell him I love him."

        Ryeowook smiled, "Will do, mister."

(Kyuhyun)

"Do you think Ryeowook doesn't like me anymore?" Kyuhyun asked Eunhyuk and Donghae, frustrated, he was now in their room and had nothing to do.

"Nah, don't be selfish Kyu, Kibum needs love." Eunhyuk told him.

"The best person to comfort other people is Ryeowook, so you'll just have to deal with that, come on Kyu, he still loves you." Donghae said.

"But what if he doesn't?" Kyuhyun panicked.

"What if who doesn't what?" The door swung open to reveal Ryeowook, "I've been looking for you Kyuhyunnie." Ryeowook scolded as Kyuhyun rushed to take him in his arms.

"You don't pay any attention to me anymore." Kyuhyun pouted, and Ryeowook leaned forward to kiss those pouting lips, he played with Kyuhyun's hair.

        "Say something!" Kyuhyun said.

"I want to sleep, I'm tired, I've been looking after Kibum for 3 days." Ryeowook rested his head on Kyuhyun's shoulder and puffed up his cheeks.

"I'll take you to bed." Kyuhyun smiled and lifted Ryeowook up bridal style, he carried Ryeowook to their room, forgetting all about Eunhyuk and Donghae now that he had his Ryeowook.

Kyuhyun laid Ryeowook down on the bed and snuggled up beside him, he covererd them with a thick blanket and Ryeowook, who had his legs wrapped around Kyuhyun's waist, was moving his hips even in his sleep. Kyuhyun had never felt so peaceful and happy before, he rubbed his nose against Ryeowook's and kissed his hair and face non stop while the other slept, looking like an angel.
