Chapter 43: I'm Going To Die

(Ryeowook) 

        The next morning Ryeowook to woke to the sound of Kyuhyun moaning his name, still in his armchair. Ryeowook himself had Kibum clinging to him tightly, he carefully removed Kibum's arm and walked over to Kyuhyun, "Kyunnie." he whispered, "Kyunnie!" 

        Kyuhyun woke up, "Huh?" he blinked in confusion.

        "I think you were having an erotic dream, weren't you?" Ryeowook giggled. 

        Kyuhyun hid his face shyly. 

        "Omo! So cute!" Ryeowook said, "But we have to get up and go now, I'll wake Kibum and Heechul hyung up." Ryeowook gently shook both boys awake and got them into the shower. "Now us." he said to Kyuhyun and they returned to their room to shower together. Their was no time to even make out, they had only 3 minutes in the shower before they had to dry themselves and rush out to put on their rebel uniforms. 

        Kyuhyun buckled up Ryeowook's belt, "There, all done." he smiled at his boyfriend, making Ryeowook's heart flutter. 

        "So... how many people in a compartment again?" Ryeowook asked, gazing up at Kyuhyun's handsome face. He looked even more handsome in that uniform. Ryeowook thought it looked ridiculous on himself though, big and bulky. And even in battle he had to put on his make up. 

        "8, and they planned it out for us, we'll know where we sit, they'll tell us." And as Kyuhyun said, before boarding the train they all had a compartment number stamped onto their hands, there would be no switching, "What did you get?" Kyuhyun asked him, "15." Ryeowook answered and Kyuhyun let out a sigh of relief, "Good, we're together." 

        They had not seen any of their friends since they had left Heechul and Kibum this morning, so Ryeowook jumped when someone suddenly put a hand on his shoulder and it turned out to be Donghae. "Which compartment are you in?" he asked. 

        "15, you?" 

        "Same, also Hyukjae and Henry." the two boys standing behind Donghae waved. 

        "I think they're seperating us by age." Eunhyuk giggled, "The youngest half are together and the older half there." 

        "No, you're forgetting Kibum." Ryeowook reminded him, at least Kibum would have Heechul and Leeteuk to look after them.

        "So who are the other people sitting with us?" Kyuhyun asked. 

        "Guess we'll find out." Henry shrugged. 

    They battled their way through the large crowd, passing the other five, Yunho, and Tao and Kris in Compartment 13, and finally reaching their own compartment. Sitting inside was Luhan, Chen, and Changmin, chatting amiably. 

        "Yo!" Donghae slid into the chair beside Luhan, "Fine day, isn't it?" 

        "I think it's gonna rain." Luhan said, looking out the window at the dark sky, the dark gray clouds had blocked the sun." 

        "A little rain won't hurt." Changmin tried to be positive. 

        "Looks like more than a little." Kyuhyun said glumly as it began to rain heavily.

        "Not good for battle conditions." Chen told them, "But it'll be fun! I've always wanted to fight in the rain!" 

        "Yeah, it'll be like, so awesome!" Luhan gave Chen a high five. 

        Ryeowook and Kyuhyun exchanged looks, they both thought that Chen and Luhan liked each other. 

        "So where's Xiumin? He doesn't have a job now that we're on a train instead of a hovercraft." Henry grinned. 

        "He can drive trains too silly." Luhan laughed, but Ryeowook noticed that Chen twitched when Xiumin's name was mentioned. He likes either Luhan or Xiumin. Ryeowook decided. 

        "Is there any food?" Changmin asked eagerly, disrupting Ryeowook's thoughts. 

        "Pizza!" Chen sang, suddenly grabbing one from under his seat, "Took it from the kitchen!"

        "Don't let Lay find out, he'll freak." Luhan grinned, "Oh there's 8, so one each."

        Changmin took the first piece and finished it before the others had even had a bite, "Ahh, I love food, I wish I could have more." he looked at the others hopefully, but no one was willing to give him their pizza, not even Ryeowook. 

        "Meanies." Changmin pouted. 

        "Yunho isn't here to say you're cute." Kyuhyun told his old friend. 

        Changmin's face turned an interesting shade of red, "You cheeky little-! Yunho has nothing to do with this!" 

        "Oh really." Kyuhyun said, an evil glint in his eyes. 

        "Really!" Changmin insisted. 

        "Stop it guys you're making Ryeowook jealous." Donghae grinned. 

        "Ryeowook? Ryeowook?" Kyuhyun shook him. 

        Ryeowook continued to tremble uncontrollably, a wave of fear had washed over him now that he was actually on his way to fight. Fear, just like in the arena. 

        He was going to die. 

        "Ryeowook!" Ryeowook was aware of the voices calling for him, their voices sounded far away, as if in a dream land. 

        "RYEOWOOK!" he heard Kyuhyun's voice scream. 

        "I'm ... I'm going to die..." Ryeowook said, his eyes glazed. 

        "Ryeowook! My Ryeowook!" 

        "What's happening to him!" 

        Memories flashed through Ryeowook's brain, Kyuhyun killing Sungmin, Siwon's face in the sky, fighting Kibum, tears leaked from the corner of his eyes, "I want..."

(Kyuhyun POV)

        "What is it you want Ryeowook?" Kyuhyun asked desperately, Me, he wants me. Kyuhyun thought, they were always there for each other. 

        "I want..." another tear made it's way down Ryeowook's cheek. 

        "You want?"

        "I want Leeteuk hyung." 

        Pain hit Kyuhyun in his chest and he doubled over. I want Leeteuk hyung.

(Luhan) 

        Luhan reacted quickly, he carried Ryeowook out the Compartment and made his way to Compartment 13. 

        "Where are you going!" One of the guards shouted, "No switching compartments!" 

        "I have higher authority than you!" Luhan shrieked, if Ryeowook needed his hyungs to get better, then Luhan was going to give him that. He knew that a motherly person like Leeteuk was someone Ryeowook would look up to. ]

        He burst into the Compartment and the 8 men sitting in there jumped up, "What's wrong with him?" they shouted. 

        "I don't know!" Luhan shouted back, "He says he wants Leeteuk!" 

        "Come here." Luhan put Ryeowook down on Leeteuk's lap and Leeteuk hugged the younger boy, "It's okay, it's okay, tell hyung what's wrong."

        "I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die." Ryeowook sobbed and Kibum reached out a hand to him. 

        "You won't!" Leeteuk put his face close to Ryeowook's and cried too, it hurt him to see the young one in pain. 

        Luhan noticed Kyuhyun outside the compartment, half hidden, a look of hurt and anger in his eyes.
