I always loved when Axl and I had sex. It was what came after that I dreaded.
He would always leave. Leaving me alone. Always.
Ever since we started dating that's how it's worked.
Normally I didn't mind, but I had a rough day at work. And Axl made it better. But I need him tonight.
Not just sex.
I just need him to hold me.

Me and Axl flopped on the bed next to each other, a satisfied sigh leaving both our lips.
I laid my head on his chest and he kissed my forehead tenderly.

"I gotta go, Babe."

"What- where?"

"Me and the guys were gonna go out for drinks. You can come if you want."

"No. I don't want to. Just go."

I turned over facing away from Axl wrapping and pulling the blanket tighter around me.

"Why are you bitchy all of a sudden?"

"I'm not Axl. Go get drunk with the guys."

"Seriously June, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"Nothing." I sniffle out.

I didn't want him to know I was upset, but I suck at hiding my emotions. Tonight, I just needed Axl. But of course, he wants to leave.

"Babe. Babe what's wrong?" He asks wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"I just need you."

"What round three?"

"No Axl. Just hold me. Don't leave. You always leave. I just need you to hold me. Please baby. Don't leave." I whimper out.

"I won't baby, I'm staying. I promise."
His voice soft, and sincere.

He turns me so my head is in his chest. One arm holding my waist, the other tangled in my hair.
The stress of the day finally all being released as I cried.

"Shh babe. It's okay. I'm here."

"I can't take it Axl. I can't take it."

"Can't take what baby?"

"Work. It's like I can never make anyone happy. I could do one person's job, and another's and mine and all everyone does is complain that I didn't do enough. Axl it's so stressful."

"Then don't go back."

"What?" I asked looking up at him.

"You're staying home. You can help us write songs or I don't know. But hand in your papers to quit and stay home."

"No, no. You can't be the only one working."

"Babe. We will be fine. Okay?"

"I love you Axl."

"Love you too June. C'mon, let's go to bed."

Axl laid down behind me, my back to his chest, his arm wrapped loosely around me.
And we slept together, after sex, for the first time ever.
