Fluff

Ik a lot of my imagines are based in a high school setting; I personally feel that this is the easiest way to write.

"How do you forget a coat in the middle of winter, June?"
Saul chuckled, unlocking his front door.

"Who plans a date outside in the middle of winter, Saul?"
I replied, shivering.

"I was trying to be romantic."
He deadpans, gently pushing me inside once he unlocked the door.

"It would've been..... if I wasn't below freezing!"
I exclaimed in a teasing tone.

Saul smiles and leads me to his room.

"I-uh, well-, I didn't plan on company. So- um, t-the room might be messy."
He blushes, beginning to pick up the slightly out-of-order room.

"It's fine, Saul. C-can I borrow a sweater?"
I asked, my cheeks turning red.

"Course. Do you want a hoodie or just a regular zip?"
He asked, going over to his closet.

"Hoodie. I-if you don't m-mind."
I said, hating my stutter.

"Here, it's my UCLA. It's my favorite, though, so take good care of it."
He joked, sending a wink to add to the goofiness.

"T-thanks, Saul."
I smiled, slipping it on over my shirt. I looked down and realized that his hoodie came down passed my thighs, covering the majority of my leggings.

"We can stay here if you want, June. No point in going back into the cold. Mom and Dad are gone anyways."

"Oh. U-um. S-sure."
I stuttered.

"Or, we can go out to get a shake or something."
Saul rushed out, my stutter probably making him doubt himself.

"No, no. W-we can stay in. Already w-warm."
I said, trying to shove my stutters down.

"C'mere, June."
Saul says calmly.

I nodded and walked over to him, allowing him to wrap his arms around me.

" 'ts the matter? You're stuttering. You only do that when you're nervous."
He points out, his fingers running through my hair.

"N-nothing's wrong."
I said, looking up at him to give a tight-lipped smile to try to convince him.

"Babe. I know there's something bothering you."
He said, leaning down to give my forehead a chaste kiss.
"You okay?"

"Mhm."
I nodded.

"Are you sure?"

"I-i've just n-never done th-this."
I stuttered out.

"Done what, June?"
Saul asked softly.

"You know. Been h-held. C-cuddled with. This is a-all new f-for me."
I let out, feeling extremely vulnerable and small.

"Y-you've never cuddled? But you were with Jake for a while."

"Jake said he didn't do all that 'fag crap'."
I said, putting quotes around his words.

"Well, lucky for you, I do. But, do you want to, June?"

"Y-yeah."
I said nervously.

"June. I don't want you to agree because it's what you think I want. Do it because you want to and are ready."
He said calmly.

"I-i want t-to. But I d-don't know how."
I said, shrinking in on myself.

"I can teach you. It's easy, Bug. I promise."
He says, flashing me a small smile.

"O-okay."
I said, trusting Saul.

"Here. How about we lay down."
Saul suggested before nudging me to one side of his bed and walking over to the other. He laid down, and I did the same.

"We can start small. Get closer, a-and put your head on my shoulder."

I shuffled towards Saul, allowing him to wrap his arm around my shoulder. I carefully laid my head on his shoulder.

"Okay?"
He asked me.
I nodded and shuffled closer to him.

"I-if you want, you can throw your leg over me."
He said calmly.

I nodded and put my leg over his waist before wrapping my right arm around his waist.

"See June. Nothing scary."
He said, placing another kiss on my forehead.

"Thank you, Saul."
I said sincerely.

"Course, babe. Don't want you to think I don't love you."
He chuckled, pulling me closer to him.

I smiled and cuddled further into him before drifting off to sleep, realizing trying something new isn't always so bad.

So this chapter is really just a filler, but I thought it was a cute little blurb.
