Saul came home from the studio upset.
Very upset.

Normally when he's like this, I leave him alone, but today I decided to try to get him to talk to me about it.
So I made my way to the bedroom and opened the door to see him at the football of the bed with his head in his hands.

"Saul?"
I asked quietly from the door.

"I'm fine."
He sighed, voice cracking.

"Can I stay?"

"Sure."

I calmly walked over to him and moved his arms. I straddled his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist before wrapping my arms around his neck bringing him to my neck.
He sighed and relaxed into me, his head resting in the crook of my neck.

"You give the best hugs."

"Because a hug is always the right size."

"Yours are still my favorite."

"Saul. We have to talk about it."

He sighed before nuzzling even further into my neck. He shook his head slightly.

"Saul. Baby, you gotta talk to me."
I said patting his back and grabbing his face, making him look at me.

"Its just- Steven's bad. Really bad. And Axl thinks yelling at him will fix everything."

"And, does Axl realize he's not hel-"

"No! No. Axl has his head up his ass and doesn't think about anything."
He said growing irritated.

"How do you feel about it Saul?"
I asked softly.

"I hate it. I hate when Stevie's upset, but I can't fix it Babe. I can't just make him better. But, we've been together forever. I worry about him."
He said, his voice hoarse and his eyes watering.

"Saul."
I sighed bringing him into my arms again.

"I just hate how I can't do anything."
He sniffled.

I didn't respond, just gently moved side to side and ran a hand through his hair. We stayed this way for a while, letting him fully let out his emotions.

"Thank you."
He sniffled out.

"You don't have to thank me Saul."

"But I do, because you're so patient with me. And you let me rant and fucking cry on your shoulder."

"Saul, look at me."
He reluctantly moved to look at me, his eyes red and puffy.
"You, Saul Hudson, do not give yourself enough credit. You have put up with my bullshit for too many years. Since high school babe. So believe me when I say that it doesn't bother me. Sometimes I need a shoulder and other times you need one. But that's okay. Just don't ever forget that."

"I love you so much June."
He said bringing me to him again.

"I know Saul. I love you too. Forever."

We stayed in each others arms for another while before laying down, him being the little spoon.
Sometimes all Saul needs is a hug. And from me, they're always the right size.

So this one was short. But I seen a winnie the pooh quote and was inspired.
