Today was mine and Slash's day off. We both set today aside, seeing as how it was Sunday, to go shopping.
This wasn't just regular shopping, but baby shopping.

I am currently six months pregnant with our first baby. And I cannot wait to go shopping. I loved looking at baby clothes or anything entertaining the idea of a baby even before I was pregnant.

But now, I gush when anyone has a baby or talks about babies or anything of nature. Besides, I love that I was finally pregnant, and so did Slash. We had been trying for so long.

But anyways, it was Spring, April to be exact, so I wore a summer dress with sunflowers, left my hair down, and threw on some sandals.
I grabbed my purse and went downstairs, where Slash was waiting.

"You ready, babe?"
I asked, stepping off the last step.

"Well, look at my flower all dressed up."
He smiled, standing and moving towards me.

"Just a dress Saul."
I blushed; the nickname he'd given me almost ten years earlier still gave me butterflies.

"Y'look beautiful, Flower."

"Stop making me blush, and let's go shopping."
I giggled.

Slash laughed, and we walked out the door and drove to the local Wal-Mart. 

"Go nuts, Flower. You throw what you want in the cart, and I'll buy it."
Slash said, pushing the cart towards the baby section.

"Baby, look!"
I squealed.
"It's got cassettes on it!"

"There's some more with records right be-"

"This one has sunglasses, like from Top Gun."
I squealed, cutting him off. We knew we were having a girl, but I grabbed it anyway.

"-hind you."
Slash finished, chuckling at my antics.

"This one has a bunch of fruits on it!"
I said, looking at the different sizes on the rack.

"Look, Sweetheart, I found one with sunflowers."
Slash said from the other side.

I squealed and ran to the other side to look at the one he'd picked. Then a set with pale pink polka dots caught my eye.

"Saul, baby, look! It's got polka dots!"
I said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Look, June, this one says 'Daddy's Princess.' "

"Put it in the cart!"
I exclaimed, seeing Slash give me a happy smile as he complied.

"Saul, we have enough clothes don't you think?"
I laughed after throwing another few onesies and sets into the cart. 
Slash chuckled, looking into the cart and seeing it was so full of clothes we couldn't see through the bottom.

"C'mon, Mama, let's get strollers, bottles, and all that good stuff."
He said, putting his hand on the small of my back to guide me.
