Chapter 3 - Episode 15: Evaluation of DNA (August 29, 2021)

"I'm upset that these things are happening this way, if dad didn't just left us, this wouldn't happen, even your dad's death, Earlie." she told him after Earl laid her on the bed.
"Shush, Elaine. I know that you're mad but things happen and we can't blame anyone for that and they died in an accident so no one is at fault." Earl just hugged her after saying this.
"Earlie, please help me. I don't want to hurt myself but I can't help it. I don't want mom to be gone. It just days when she passed away but it's already killing me." she added while hugging Earl back.
"Cry it out, Elaine. I'll be here. Don't hurt yourself, okay? I'll be hurt too. As long as I'm here, you still have a reason to live and to be happy. Look at me." after Elaine looked at him, he just put his lips on hers.
"I love you, Earlie." she whispered after they kissed.
"I love you too, Elaine." he said before laying his girlfriend back on the bed.
"Sweet dreams." he added before he closed the door. He then went downstairs and saw Denver.
"Earl, someone just sent this letter." Denver immediately handed the paper to Earl before leaving him alone.
"Mr. Earl Gray, we have already collected the six samples of DNA from Ms. Emilia, Edna, Elisa, Ellie, Eunbi and Erika, respectively. We'll be just waiting for your sample and we'll get the testing started that will last for a week. How does tomorrow sound?" he read the letter.
"I just hope that they all match so that I won't have to deal with them anymore." he just said before throwing the letter away. He then saw his brother.
"Denver, be in charge at our company tomorrow as you'll be my new vice president. I'll just go to the hospital tomorrow. Also, good night, brother." he talked to him.
"Um, Earl. You mean, after the interment, right? We still have to bury dad and Atty. Arlyn's bodies." Denver clarified.
"Yes, I mean, after that. Sorry, I kinda forgot. Anyways, sleep well as we all will be busy tomorrow." his brother then just tapped him at his shoulders before leaving him alone.
Date: August 17, 2021, the next day
"She's the reason why I am still standing here in front of you all. After dad left us, we have experienced extreme poverty but she persevered to keep me, us alive. She worked from daytime until the night and barely gotten any sleep just to raise me good. Maybe, she's just waiting for me to find the right man for me before she bid goodbye to this world. That's why she died with my fiance's dad. Mom, I'm gonna miss you and I'll be always proud of what we have achieved. Adios." Elaine said her eulogy before kissing the closed coffin.
"And as for my dad, Mr. Eric Gray, thank you for being a good leader us all and you helped each and every workers and employees that you had for almost 30 years since the establishment of your company on your own way. We'll be forever grateful of your kindness to our members and I also applaud your humbleness to our house utilities. Thank you, Ms. Stacy and her son and my friend, Denver, for being loyal to my father for many years. Dad, you may not see me anymore but I'll keep all the wisdom you gave me." Earl then said before closing his dad's coffin. The other people then said their eulogies. After an hour, all of the people are walking outside.
