"Come in." Earl said when someone knock on his door.
"Good morning, Mr. Earl. Here are the files that you requested." Mylene entered the room and gave the folders to him.
"I have one more task for you. Can you please join our agent to find a place that can be our second branch for our newest brand of jewelries? Since it will be in Bulgaria and you're practically a native there." Earl requested after talking the files.
"Of course, I'll join him. When will we go there?" Mylene just asked.
"Now. He's already waiting at the parking lot. Don't bother bringing too many clothes. Just buy using this." Earl then gave her a stack of greens.
"Oh my gosh. Thank you, Mr. Earl. I'll make sure that we'll find the best place for you." Mylene then thanked him before running outside, leaving Earl with his secretary.
"Sir, you're kinda suspicious. Making her leave immediately." his secretary told him.
"She's like a riddle. And I have a hunch that she is someone related to my mother since Denver and her mom are just telling me that she died due to an accident. Do I have any appointments before lunch?" he asked.
"Nothing, sir. Should I keep the visitors out?" the secretary confirmed.
"Yes. I'll be back at one." Earl then left the secretary alone in his office and went to Mylene's room.
"Now, I just have to search through her files and find something valuable to me there." he then started opening her folders and skimming every files inside the room.
"Nothing informative here. And these are just files from E Firm." after sometime, he managed to see a crumpled paper and opened it.
"Certificate of adoption? And why is dad's name written here?" he then took the paper and went to the room across from where he came from.
"Good morning, Mr. Earl. Do you need the payslips now? I just started printing it earlier." an employee greeted him.
"Good morning. Not yet, miss. Just make sure that all the payslips will be processed before the end of the month so that we can give their salaries on time." Earl said while opening the other printer.
"Are you printing something, Mr. Earl. Let me help you with that." the printer lady offered him.
"Thank you but I can do it on my own. Just focus on printing the payslips." he refused her help.
"Sure." the printer lady then left him alone while printing Mylene's files.
"Just turn it off. I don't know where the plug of this is located. Have a good day." he then left the printer lady alone and went back to Mylene's room.
"At least, I'm returning it back. I'm sorry for going through your files." he mumbled to himself while returning the original file inside the folder.
"But my dad's name is written on it so I don't have a choice but to look through this file of yours." after he rearranged everything in Mylene's room like nothing happened, he then went back to his office where his secretary is waiting for him.
