Date: August 28, 2021, at Earl's house...
"To be honest with you, Earl. She and Denver went to a hospital last time and she turned out to be pregnant." Stacy then spilled the tea.
"For exactly nine weeks." she continued before showing the ultrasound results to Earl.
"Then I must marry her immediately!" Earl said after reading the paper.
"But, Earl. Please reconsider. I saw how she is in this house. She became like you back then. Badmouthing people, even our other maids are walking out on her." Stacy then tried to stop Earl for marrying her.
"What's the matter? It's not like that you're the one or the other maids will be the one marrying her. I am so if my future wife is bothering you, you are free to leave this house or adjust according to her behavior and attitude. And not just because you are my stepmother and the mother of my best friend, that I'll allow you to say something bad about my girlfriend, whether it be in front of me of behind my back. Understood?" Earl then lashed on her.
"I'm sorry, Earl, if I'm like this protective to you. I'm just used to being just like a mother to you. But for the sake of your love, I'll gladly do my best to adjust for her." Stacy then said before tearing up.
"Then you may stop because you won't ever be my mother. Now,get back to work." Earl shouted before leaving his plate and walking to the garage to enter his car. After a while, he arrived at the company...
"Good morning, Mr. Earl." the girls om the line greeted when he entered the doors.
"Good morning, everyone. Just wait for your name to be called for you to start the interview." Earl greeted back to all of the applicants.
"Good morning, Mr. Earl. These are the resumes and application forms for you to examine." the secretary also greeted at him before handing the pile of folders to him.
"I'll read this for a while and let the applicants take a break for fifteen minutes." Earl instructed before entering the interview room. After almost twenty people interviewed...
"Who will be next, Mr. Earl?" the secretary asked him.
"You may now call Ms. Ellie Marksman." Earl just answered while watching the secretary walk outside for the nth time.
"Ms. Ellie Marksman, it's your turn now." the secretary announced outside that made the other applicants laugh.
"Um, miss. She just actually left to go the restroom. This may sound a little embarrassing on her part but since she's not here yet, I should tell you that she's the one who farted loudly earlier." after the other applicant explained to the secretary, everyone then just burst in laughter.
"I'll just ask the boss to take a break for fifteen minutes too if that's okay with you all while we wait for Ms. Marksman, and please, have someone follow her there and inform her that it's already her turn to be interviewed." the secretary just reminded them before entering Earl's office again, for countless times.
"Where is she?" the only response she got from Earl.
"There is this sort of a problem. The next applicant just went to the restroom to release some thing. I suggest that you take a break first while we wait for her." the secretary then talked with him.
