- BELLE -

My mind was a racecourse. Perhaps on its thirtieth round by now. Refusing to grasp any aspects of sleep and the fact that the sofa made my ankles stick out from the blanket uneased me even more.

As childish as it sounded, I wasn't one to risk losing my feet to some shadow monster lurking beneath the shadows. So, I tried to sleep with bent knees.

Instead, it gave me crippling cramps and pains in my joints that made me feel like a damsel in distress.

The sun was already rising into dawn and I knew that I wouldn't excuse myself to nap throughout the day. Not with Draco snooping around. And I wasn't too fond of being choked to death whilst asleep.

So, to ease the slumber threatening to consume me. I turned to her next hope of jolting awake. Plus it'd be a nice way to earn some fresh air by my own accord.

Thankfully Draco was still prisoned in his room so I could only hope that he doesn't come out whilst I do this. That would just be a recipe for disaster.

But not wanting to predict anything, I kept my vibes at an all time high.

It'll only be a quick five minute trip anyway. But if he saw me like this. I don't think he'd let me see the light of day without embarrassing me on the daily.

Not only would he probably refuse to let me inside, he'd make some god awful jokes about how my body was more chunky compared to other girls.

How I was this and that, how I couldn't compare to anyone he's had before. I wasn't ready for an anxiety attack this early on in the day. If it ought to occur I'd probably turtle myself in for three days.

Slowly exiting the cabin through the front door. Surprisingly, it wasn't too cold outside. Even if the sun had just presented itself, it was unusually warm.

Not that I was complaining. Because I certainly wasn't, but it was almost winter time. Something just didn't make much sense.

Fastening my pace, I rolled off my jacket, shimmying out of the pyjamas I had on, leaving me in my underwear. Still leaving on my pyjama top however.

If it were the case of Draco seeing me, I don't think I'd be prepared for him to see my breasts. I was still shy around him fully clothed.

He could easily stand bollock naked in front of me and still remain the same amount of dominance he'd always have. But I could barely look him in the eye.

Even if I had an eskimo suit on.

I poked my toe into the shallow bit of water and again, abnormally it wasn't ice cold like I originally imagined it to be.

Nevertheless, I ran into the water, shivering immediately as my skin collided with the brewing morning coldness. The heat of my breath exasperating from my lips.

And with one large gasp, I plunged myself fully under the water and let my soul run wild and free. Swimming along the shore, I didn't go too far out in case the border ended somewhere nearby.

However, the calmness and silence the crashing waves tingled in my ears was more than sultry. It was undeniably necessary.

The peace I never thought I needed to be around. It was totally different than having Draco threatening you at every second of the day.
