My vision was still slightly dazed. Unfortunately there was still a lack of movement around my body and I could feel my lungs bubbling with water inside.

Belle's voice was muffled, like she was talking through her scarf and I could barely grasp a fully complete sentence coming out of her lips.

Each word and sentence came in waves.

All I could recollect was the sensation of my reality being pulled backwards, like I was sinking into the ground and my sense of existence began to cease.

Suddenly I felt a pressure squeezing my nostrils shut, another hand - warm might I add - gripping my jaw and a pair of lips upon mine.

Air plunged through into my throat before a thumping beat hindered my chest before it repeated. The same pair of lips.

They weren't foreign at all. I had definitely kissed them before.

Sweet chocolate, cream and marshmallow.

If it hadn't been for me almost drowning I'd probably find myself kissing back.

I hadn't kissed someone eagerly for a long time. Not since that situation happened. There was no desire to. All aspects of greed had succumbed into the coffin of black and blue.

It definitely made me feel bad for Neville. Knowing the kissing I heard he and Belle got up to in fourth year.

But then again, Longbottom himself didn't have much practice so it'd make sense that they were as shit as each other.

Poor Longbottom. Belle's the type of person to leave someone with blue balls and not understand the concept of it. And his anxious wimpy self would be too scared to say anything.

He'd be there suffering and Belle would be oblivious. It was quite the disaster to think about. That's why I was glad that I-

Shut up.

At first - in fourth year in particular, I was somewhat surprised to hear that Longbottom and blondie herself had a small fling. Especially after the Yule Ball.

Something must've happened between the two because I'd not seen them linked ever again. However, since I barely paid her any attention, I didn't even realise that she moved seats next to Hermione until I began to distance myself from everyone I knew.

Also that moment where I began to hate myself, the world and everyone in it.

Because I had to start paying attention to all my enemies. Back then - and still now - that were still the case.

I had no friends. Everyone was my enemy and I trusted no one.

Gasping for air, water coughed up out of my throat and an awful stinging pain hit the back of my nose. Like fire had met smoke and burned the windpipes within.

'Oh thank god.' Belle panicked, resting her scarf beneath my neck before pulling up my shirt.

'Don't fucking touch me.' I groaned, still recollecting my breath, mucky salt filled my mouth and I spat on the ground beside me to try and get rid of the taste.

'You're bleeding again Malfoy. I have to heal you with-'

'Don't you dare put your stinking hands anywhere near me, you slut.' I barked.
