- BELLE -

After many minutes surpassed and the wondrous thoughts of others from me being killed in the basement because of Seamus' threat to dwindle, I resurfaced from the stairs and set my theories aside.

However, upon recognition, I notice Theo, cradled into himself on the sofa as he sleeps to his side. Head resting on the hand pillow he's made. Tear stained eyes and cheeks, the small brimming of crimson raws his skin.

Curls of warmth wrap around my arms and I delicately smile as goosebumps rise. The evening was at its peak and most took to silence.

Pansy and Blaise, of their own accord, were still studying the map, whispering back and forth as to the information they were both told that may cause a crisis in the coming future.

On the other hand, what surprised me the most, but was perhaps the most predictable thing out of the two at the same time, was by the fireplace where Seamus and Draco, opposite each other, were playing wizard chess.

Mumbles of locations caused wooden figurines to attack and move from square to square.

Draco was winning, but at this rate, I could reason as to why winning or losing would matter to either of them as they remained chatting, chuckling and surprisingly bonding.

So much for work, Seamus. I sarcastically snarl.

Slowly tiptoeing through the crowds to avoid waking up Theo, leaned to press a delicate kiss on Draco's temple.

He leaned up and into my lips with a warming hum, "Are you alright, love?"

Nodding back, I jerked my head toward the corridors. "Yes, I'm just going to rest in bed, a little overwhelmed."

His lip twitches and it enhances my attention as to the reason why he had become the most sensational human being I've come to witness.

And not only that but I was carrying his child. Our child. At least this baby has a chance of obtaining some good looks.

"Alright, I'll come join you."

My brow arches as I see Seamus demand the knight to move to his upper left square. "Don't you have a game to finish?"

Draco shakes his head before focusing back on the board. "Nope, all finished here. Bishop to six B." He throws in a nod of approval as it moves. Suddenly all three figures turn to face Seamus' king."Checkmate, buddy."

"Bloody arsehole." Seamus scoffs, restudying his board.

We both giggle. Draco not once leaves the ego filled pride as his chin lifts, "You said that the last four times."

A black king figurine is thrown at Draco's head where it hits him onto his brow and we force ourselves to stifle down our sets of giggles even further.

This interpersonal relationship that they have brewing would always be weird to me. But for some reason I understand and appreciate it.

Theo was loud and buzzful. There were too many colours on his palette and it'd settle for a splatter combination of rainbow vomit. Blaise, on the other hand, was perhaps the opposite. Too opposite.
