- BELLE -

I don't think I dreamt at all last night. It was all a blur. Grey fog. The stress of surviving was enough to completely numb my brain from any train of thought.

In a world where there is no safety, where the scrolls predict doomsday and shambles can corrupt any waking second - I wasn't too surprised to grasp the fact that not only did I not dream, but that I fell asleep in a matter of seconds.

Not even the audacity to have five minutes to daydream about what I wanted.

I could only pinpoint the idea that throughout all the days, the only thing lingering in my mind is that my freedom is no longer mine.

It belonged to more than just Draco. But to fate itself. And my intuition, which wasn't on my side right now.

Furthermore, my soul couldn't even be at rest anymore. Something in the back of my mind was telling me another story. More chapters were to be written.

The story is still not fully finished. After all, it felt like we had only gone half way through the book of my life. We were only on chapter fifteen.

I couldn't predict what was to come. There would be good and bad, that I was certain of. But whether it was an endgame or not - that I could not tell.

My story thus far, was a backward comic book if anything.

It wasn't the one I had originally planned and not one I had in store. We, the order, were all prepared to go to war and fail. But we still fought hard with everything we got.

Outnumbered we were, that was obvious. Guaranteed to lose the battle and many lives were lost for that one cause. Revolution.

However, the factor was, that we all fought to put some strain where we thought we could. Like a small shiv in the kidney. The darkness may only have been injured, it put a delay for the bigger plans to commence.

And the plan thus far was to stay hidden. Yet I couldn't even follow a simple order due to my trivial heart.

Speaking of, perhaps I'd awaken from cardiac arrest if it weren't alerted by someone other than Draco. Despite my areas of concern, his tone of voice was certainly not calm.

'Belle get up now!' He whisper yelled, shaking me frantically, our belongings already on his back.

The dark greys of our burnt out fire pit had lulled the air, clouding the surrounding area with a soft sheen of warmth.

My whine wasn't enough to convince him of five more minutes and before I knew it, he had dragged me to my feet with his strength - which he surprisingly regained - and started to drag me down a small slope in the direction of the river.

Thankfully our clothes were still on so there wasn't much to grab from; however, as I upped my pace without needing Draco to rush me down, I heard something that must've woken him up in the first place.

Scratching noises echoed in the far distance, yells at a somewhat high decibel rate bellowed from within the trees too. Immediately it panicked me.

Although no figures were seen, they were most definitely heard. And I was glad that Draco had the ears of a cat because I, without a doubt, would've slept through it.
