Chapter 13: The plan

Heather's P.O.V:

School just finished and I remembered Gina was taking me to a cafe. I scanned the school carpark looking for her car and nothing. *BUZZ BUZZ* My phone was vibrating in my school dress, I unzipped the pocket and retrieved my phone. Gina's caller ID came up. "Hey Gina, I can't seem to spot your car" I answered. "Hey doll, I've parked behind the basketball courts, just walk down and you'll see the car. Bye darling" "Bye" I replied. I did as Gina instructed and walked down past the basketball courts where I soon found her car. I opened the passenger seat and got in. Once I had my seatbelt on she drove away. "What about Luke and Jai?" I asked as I was confused as to why she didn't pick her sons up. "We're just gonna have a one on one girl time" Gina drove to a local cafe and we hopped out of the car and took a seat outside in an isolated area."What can I get you guys?" the waitress asked. "I'll have a hot chocolate thanks" I told the lady and Gina ordered a mocca. I didn't know why we were here. Gina and I usually had girl time but it would usually be at a spa or shopping centre. Maybe she wanted to change it up. "How are you feeling?" Gina asked me. "Good thank you and yourself?" I questioned her. "I'm good, Have you been feeling sick lately?" Well I had morning sickness some days but that was because of the baby but I couldn't tell Gina that but I also couldnt lie to her. "Sometimes" I replied."Has your back been acheing?" she asked me. Okay what is up with all these questions. "Gina, cut to the chase. Obviously something is on your mind. What is with all these questions?" I blurted out. Gina took a deep breath. "I'm gonna get to the point, Have you and Beau had sex yet?" "GINA!" I yelled as I was shocked at how confrontung and personal that question was. She let out a sign of relief and mumbled "Good so it's hers" under her breath but I heard it clearly. "Hers what? what are you talking about?" I was so confused. It was awkward discussing this with Gina. She took another deep breath. "I was sorting out Beau's laundry and fixing his cupboards and I found an ultrra sound photo and I wanted to know if it's yours?" Shit. She knows. "Gina are you freaking out?" I asked. "No im not worried I just wanna know how your fairing and what's the plan?" Beau and I still didn't have a plan. "I'm going okay, in the beginning at Swan Hill that's when I found out because I had morning sickness and I was constantly vomiting, Um Beau and I haven't really discussed a plan. Do you have thoughts?" I asked. I loved how Gina wasn't worried and that she took it well and she was being really supportive. " I am too old and run down to look after a baby again. You are dropping out of school which is good so you will have time to look after the baby. I already have a cot and baby chair and pram. i already have all those things which you guys can use and save money on but you still need to figure out a plan with Beau and I suggest you do it tonight." I understood where Gina was coming from. We finished our drinks and Gina drove us home.

I bolted through the door and got some clothes on so I was out of my school uniform. I looked at my stomach. It was only a small bump and I could still hide it but I know sooner or later I wont be able to. Once I was changed I quickly did my home work and went to the boys house. I stepped inside and Gina pointed up gestering me to head upstairs and talk to Beau, I nodded. I walked up the stairs and first went into Jai and Luke's room "Hey" I said while I was standing at their door. "hey" Luke said with his eyes still glued to the Tv. Jai got up and gave me a warm welcoming hug. "Why didn't you walk home with us?" Jai questioned pretending to be sad as he pouted. I laughed. "Gina took me to a cafe." Jai smiled and invited me to join them and watch tv and I promised I would just after I spoke to Beau. "Hey Handsome" I said to Beau as I stood in his door way. He looked up and was struggling to do his belt on his jeans. I walked in and helped him adjust his belt. We then sat on his bed and I said "Beau we need to make a plan" He nodded and was thinking. "We can raise it here. You could move in here and we can set up the cot in that corner. Beau said as he was pointing to the only neat corner in his room. I put my head in my hands. Beau rubbed my back. "What's wrong babe?" He asked. "This is so stressful, I don't know if I can handle it. Graduation is in another month and I'm gonna be as big as Violet Bolregard off Charlie and the Chocolate factory." I told Beau but that wasn't all of it. Beau looked me in the eyes. "I know something else is bothering you" He said in a soothing tone. I took a deep breath. "Gina knows" Beau half gasped. "How?" he questioned."How do I know she knows? or how did she find out?" Beau looked like he had lost where I was up to. "Um both" he replied still confused. I let out a little laugh and that eased him up. "Well Gina took me into a cafe and asked if I was pregnant." "And you said yes?" Beau butted in. "Well I havent lied to Gina and I wasn't planning to but she took it well and she was really supportive. She said she was doing your laundry and she was cleaning up your drawer and she found it." Beau's expression was blank. "You sure she isn't gonna kill me?" Beau asked in mono tone. "Yep I'm sure."
