I burp a little as I shove the last piece of my lasagna into my mouth. My stomach hurts from having to practically vacuum dinner off my plate without chewing, but we don't have time for eating slowly. Not that I'm normally a slow eater.

We have a delivery to pick up in half an hour and I'm not at all happy about being assigned to do this with Taehyung. I asked James if he could take over for me just for this one, but he kindly told me to fuck off because he has a day off today.

I can be mature about certain subjects, but then again it doesn't seem to work out with Taehyung. I still can't forget how he kissed Sora and I'll probably never get that gross image out of my mind. I want Sora to be happy, but maybe it will take me a little while to get used to it.

It's been three days since then and Taehyung's face is looking more and more like the rainbow with each passing day. His black eye has turned a deep purple and the rest of his face is taking on a light green. He hasn't said anything about it or complained about it though so I think it's less painful than it looks.

Irina was a bit disappointed in me that I - what a surprise - didn't solve the whole thing in a mature way but decided to lash out, but somehow she also found it quite amusing. The girl is unreadable at times.

I have a feeling that she knew about it anyway and that's why maybe it wasn't a big surprise for her. I mean Sora and Irina have been hanging out a lot together lately and knowing that Sora is a loudmouth, I'm sure she told her about her crush or whatever you call that shit.

Either way, I don't care about it anymore.

Everyone has their own lives and their own choices, but this would still be Taehyung's pretty face if he dared to hurt my sister in any way ever.

The doorbell rings and I sprint towards it, knowing who is waiting behind it. Because Sora is going back to Korea in a few days, she wants to spend the last days with Irina. The two of them have become better friends than I would have thought and I'm glad. I yank open the door and catch sight of Sora leaning against the doorframe with a bag full of snacks.

"Took you long enough," I comment, looking at the screen of my phone. It reads 7 pm.

"Sorry, Mr. On-Time." she sneers, pinching my cheek as she walks past me and I swat her hand away. Annoying brat.

"My keys?" I say, holding out my hand in her direction and she throws the key to my motorcycle at me. I catch it mid-air and roll my eyes at her.

I had to take the car Nikolai gave me to the mechanic because of some malfunction, and since then I've been riding my motorcycle more often when I'm not staying at Irina's house. And because Sora, being the princess that she is, didn't want to take public transport, I lent her my girl.

"I hope you didn't scratch her." I raise my eyebrow suspiciously. I can always tell when she's lying to me, but there's innocence written all over her face as she shakes her head no.

Irina appears in the doorway to the kitchen and when she sees my sister, a big smile takes over her lips. They both hug as a greeting and I hope they have a good time while Taehyung and I are gone. I watch as the two of them already start giggling about something and I unconsciously smile at the sight.

But then Taehyung joins the scene and my smile drops because I know we have to leave now. He just looks into my eyes for a few seconds and gestures with his head that he will wait outside. I turn back to the two women and see Sora looking after him.
