Living For Today

Chapter 2

Zayn POV

I finished fixing my hair as she reached from behind the shower curtain to the towel laying on the ground. She shut the water off and stepped out wrapped in white. "What are the plans for today?" She asked wringing out her long honey coloured hair. I looked her up and down and smiled.

Jade had gotten heart surgery a little over a year prior and she still had deep scars across her chest and at first she was embarrassed but soon became comfortable with them. She was an inspiration to a lot of girls and I was glad she was. Our fans should have someone to look up to.

We had just gotten off our world tour a few months before and decided to take a year and just write and settle down a bit. Niall and Sarah were getting married and I was going to be an uncle as Gillian was a month pregnant. We still had interviews occasionally and sometimes we were asked to award shows but for the most part we relaxed.

"Well how long do you think it'll take Harry to come over?" I asked with a laugh as she got dressed and as if on cue I heard footsteps in our living room. I loved living In the same complex as the lads but sometimes I felt like we were always together. You needed a special key on the lift to even get on our fourteen floor. Security also was around 24/7.

"Just here to borrow some sugar." He joked as he stole some food like every morning. Sofie would ususlly cooked breakfsst and since Haz wasn't too good at shopping would always have to come and "borrow" something.

"Well. Lets see what everyone else is up to today yeah? " I asked Jade as I pulled her up off the bed and by the hand to Harry and Sofie's.

Niall POV

"It doesnt matter what you wear..." I growned. Jean, (my nickname for Sarah) was trying on different dresses in the bathroom and coming out to show me and each time deciding she didnt want it. "I love you and you are beautiful in whatever you wear." I smiled and she snorted from the other side of the bathroom door.

We were engaged for about a week at that point and in another week we would spend our two year anniversary together with all of our friends. I realized other than our friends we hadnt told anyone. She emerged from her bathroom with her light brown hair up in a pony tail and she wore dark jeans and a big sweater. "If you were gonna wear that why did you try on dresses?" I asked confused. "I decided to be comfy." She stated and smiled at me with her green eyes. "I'm starved!" She groaned and I laughed at her again. "That's my girl."

Harry POV

She stood there like she did almost every morning making enough eggs and pancakes for up to 14 people. I usually helped her most mornings and went and stole what we didn't have in our own fridge.

Sofie's curves were emphasized with the way the apron tied around her waist. Her short blonde hair spiked at the back with her fringe pushed back to one side. Her smile lit up as I placed a hand on the small of her back and pulled her towards me. "Harry." She swatted at me as my hands crept up her shirt.

"Cmon." I groaned against her lips and we began to snog. Her lips were perfect as she let out a little gasp as my fingers made their way to the back of her bra. The front door opened before I could go any further. I dropped my hands as Andy bounded through the door.

Andy POV

I had just gotten off the train about a block away from the fourteenth floor where the flat of my amazing girlfriend was. I fixed my hair in the lift and turned the key. I walked into her appartment and smiled.

It had only been a couple of days since I had seen Sami last but only one more three hour trip home and back and I'd be officially moved in. "Honey I'm home." I joked as I set my things on the couch and she stepped from her bedroom Our bedroom.

Her long brown hair was up on her head. Her hands on her curvy hips as she looked up at me with her brown eyes. Her cheeks a light shade of pink as she tried not to smile. "It isnt your home yet Samuels." I laughed as she jumped a bit to put her arms around my neck. We kissed for a while until I pulled away. "Well. If Maz will actually let me leave it will be mine soon. Now lets go get some breakfast"

I burst through Sofie and Harry's door because honestly they were probably doing somethinh I didn't need to know about. "Everyone else should be here soon." Harry said and as if on cue Zayn, Jade, Niall and Sarah walked through the front door.

Louis POV

I really didn't want to wake up. I was having the best dream about Moriah and I getting married and she looked beautiful and then all of a sudden an earyhquake happened. "Louis!" Was all she screamed at me. The ground started to crack beneath us and my eyes fluttered open. "I've been shaking you for ages. Now I'm hungry. Get up." She laughed as I looked tiredly into her hazel/green eyes.

Her eyes captured me everytime I looked at her, even still. Her dark wavy/curly hair was combed with her fingers and put up quickly as dhe washed her face in the mirror. She changed into skinny jeans which made her thin frame look even thinner and one of my striped jumpers.

We walkrd into Hazz's flat and found most of our friends already eating. "Ed just texted and said they'll be here soon. So save some for him." Jade informed us all as we began to eat. "That's if she doesn't eat it all first." Niall replied pointing to Gilliam who walked in the door looking at the food with a smile.

We all laughed at her expense. "I don't eat that much." She protested having caught onto the joke. "Youd give Nialler a run for his money." Sofie laughed and he pouted.

Ed POV

We sat in the cab in silence as it was still fairly early in the morning. Well, well before noon anyways. Shelby rested her head on my shoulder, her very long brown hair flowing to our intwined fingers. Her eyes shut under her glasses as she slept quietly.

"Bird," I shook her awake, "time to wake up little bird." I smiled at her as she rubbed her eyes. "I'm too tired!" She pouted and I couldn't help but laugh. "Well fine.," I positioned myself with my back to the open door and squatted down a bit, "hop on." And with that I piggy-backed her into the building.

We turned the key and walked onto the fourteenth floor where her flat was. We still couldn't decide whether or not to move In together. I knew she wanted to take everything slowly. We acted more like best friends than anything. We didn't kiss nearly as much as all of oyr friends but that made when we did a whole lot more special.

We walked into Harry's flat where we all ate breakfast most mornings. We all said our hellos and were informed of the reoccuring "Gillian eats everything" joke. I laughed along with the lads at her expense. "She is eating for two!" Shelby defended and all the girls agreed. "Are you sure she Isnt eating for six?" Harry responded with a wink.
