Jay runs behind Bella in order to comfort her, but he stops right in his tracks when he sees Eva and Bella talking to each other about the incident which happened few minutes ago.
Bella hugs Eva as soon as she enters the empty classroom, it was lunch time and nearly every student was in the cafeteria but Eva was waiting for Bella so that they could go together.
Bella buries her head in Eva's wavy jet-black hair and sniffs few tears, "What happened Bella? Are you crying? Who did this to you?" Eva shrieks as she scanns Bella's soiled skirt.
"Why is it so hard to accept that he will never love me? Why can't I move on? Why does it hurt so much to see him with another girl? Its been three years since he's been acting like this and somehow I still care about him." Bella draws herself away from Eva and wipes her eyes.
"Its Jake isn't it? What did he do now? Weren't you happy just a week ago that he broke up?" Eva queries her and widens her eyes in anger, she hates Jake for breaking Bella.
Bella kept quite, she didn't want Eva to worry about her but she just couldn't help it. She wanted to talk about it to someone and Eva was her only girl best friend who understands her like no other.
"Let me guess, he already found another one... that playboy! Just how many girlfriends he had this month? Isn't this his 4th one?"
After listening to this Bella's face darkens, "Sorry, shouldn't have said that, why don't you stay away from him? just ignore him." Eva comforts Bella my rubbing her back gently.
"You know I can't, he is my bestfriend, my partner and I can't-"
"He is your best friend then who am I? Don't you think its time for you to move on? I'll help you and if you dont listen to me I'll beat him up for you." Eva alleges as she slams her fist on her palm.
"Don't tell me you're jealous?" Bella chuckles at Eva's cuteness.
"Of course I am, only I get to be your bestfriend is that understood?" Eva playfully raises her brows.
"You never fail to brighten my mood." Bella smiles at her and wraps an arm around her.
"Never!" Eva replies as she bangs her forehead lightly on Bella's.
They both leave the classroom, discussing what they would have for lunch, completely oblivious to someone who was listening to them all along.
Jay shakes his head at the information, three years? What did she even saw in that jerk?
