The source of force is Jay.
Jake almost stumbles from the shove but Jay steadies him, and frowns at Bella.
“He is drunk,” Jay divulges and then puts an arm around Jake to keep him on his feet.
Bella blinks rapidly, she is brought back to earth, she anxiously says, “Yes…”
Jake pushes Jay aside, “Stay away from my Bella,” he drags Jay almost a meter away from Bella, he keeps on mumbling, “You… two keep a distance of 10… no 100 no thousand meters.”
He stumbles on his own feet and Bella rushes to his side and catches him.
She puts Jake’s arm around her shoulder and lifts him up, Jay just stares at them.
He began searching for Jake when Bella takes too long to come back, only to see them kissing. And his heart broke right at that second.
Later, he realises that Jake was drunk and hence he pulls them apart, thinking it would be uncomfortable for Bella. How wrong he was.
“What are you doing, help me here!” Bella glowers at Jay and he breaks his trance and takes another arm of Jake, keeping him sturdy.
“Stay away from my Bella, stay away! stay away!” Jake keeps mumbling when Jay comes closer to him.
Bella eyes Mia from the corner of her eyes, going back to that room and the sight enrages her, how dare that wretch tried to drug Jake?
“Jay, take care of Jake, I will be back in a second.” She puts Jake’s arm carefully on Jay’s shoulder and moves away.
“Where are you going Bella?” Jay shouts at her, shrinking under the load of Jake’s body.
“My Bella is going away, Bella!” Jake tries to go in that direction but Jay holds his collar hard and yells at him, “You can’t even walk properly, where the hell do you think you are going?”
Jake pulls his lower lip upwards, resembling a pout and tightens his cheek muscles.
Jay sighs at his childish behaviour, “That won’t work on me, it might work on Bella. But not me, now come here you scum!”
That makes Jake put all his weight on Jay, “You are a bad guy, bad bad bad!” he smacks Jay on his chest with his hands.
Jay grabs his hand and picks him up in piggy back ride, and yelps the next second, “Geez! You are so heavy! A pig! Let’s get you out of this dark corner.”

Mia glares at Bella coming towards her, and imparts her lips to say something. But instead gets splashed with a drink by none other than Bella.
Bella picks up the same drink Mia gave Jake and throws on her face. She could handle if it was she who was suffering but she couldn't see Jake through the same.
