"I already told you about it, do you ever listen to me?" Eva interrupted the heated conversation and express her thoughts, only if Bella could actually follow her methods.
She would be out of love by now, Eva was that confident on her methods.
Jay again butts in, "She is right, you should listen to her." Eva shrugs and sassily says, "Told ya!"
Bella squints her eyes at Jay and then questions him, "Wait! but how do you know what she told me to do?"
Jay blinks a couple times, I can't get caught by her, what if she knows that I was intentionally listening to their conversation. Just make something up, Jay panicked inside.
An idea came to his mind and he immediately responded, "She looks like your close friend, looks like she really cares about you and that's why I think she is right. It's great to have a friend like her." Bella nods her head in response and presses her hand against Eva's shoulders.
"There's no doubt about that. I am lucky to have her."
Eva blushes from all the attention and praises, she was cold from outside but she was a soft marshmallow from inside.
Jay sighs in relief after he realizes that they bought his lies, he wasn't exactly lying, it was true to some extent, Eva was definitely a great friend to have around.
She reminds him of someone, "You both are lucky to have each other. I wish I had someone like you guys." His voice sounds sulky and sappy.
Eva tries to cheer him up and puts her hand on his shoulder, "You are officially our close friend now."
The trio brightly smiles at each other.
Bella later says, "Let's go, why don't you guys join me at the café?"
"I can't come with you, I have to go for an appointment." Eva slightly looks down and kicks her foot aimlessly.
"That's alright, I'll go alone. I have to write stuff anyways, I'll prefer my surroundings quiet." Bella waves her hands off after a soft chuckle leaves her lips.
She was simply saying that if Eva would be around she couldn't write anything and the café meet will turn into some tea party in which Bella would silently nod and Eva would continue to blabber about her past, present, future basically everything.
"I'll come with you. I would be bored at home anyways." Jay said as he scratched the back of his neck.
