"Sunghoon once told me that he felt mostly alive when he was out there on the rink, skating. No wonder weekends weren't enough for him. He would still come at this place for skating on Tuesdays and Thursdays." Jay unveils as he and Bella walk around the park.

Bella nods and then says, "It means everything to him." Jay shows around the place where Sunghoon used to skate, now children did skate boarding there.

They had been talking about it for a while, the sun had already set. Twilight hour began showing its magic.

"So, you became friends? How come I didn't know about you?" Bella asks out of the blue.

"You wished you knew me then huh?" Jay says teasingly and wiggles his eyebrows.

Bella chuckles and shakes her head, "No, I just didn't know you were friends with Sunghoon and that's still surprising."

"Maybe I was his little secret, who knows?" Jay humorously states after shrugging his shoulders.

Flashback

Sunghoon sniffed the daffodils and then scanned for a certain person. His eyes feel on a boy who was watching him from a distance.

Without wasting a second, he clutched the bunch tightly in his hands and moved closer to the boy, surprisingly the boy started running.

Sunghoon yelled, "Jay, stop! I just want to talk to you!"

That made Jay halt at his place and he widened his eyes as he saw Sunghoon coming towards him.

Sunghoon passed the flowers to Jay, a sunny, charming smile lit up his face, "Thanks for being my guardian angel!"

Jay furrowed his brows and took the flowers, happy wasn't enough of a word to express his feeling at the moment. He was Sunghoon's guardian angel, the name itself felt like an achievement.

He had accomplished something finally; he did one thing right. And that meant everything to him.

"I know you had been looking over me from a far and I wanted to thank you for that. Will you be my friend?" Sunghoon sweetly spoke and then stretched his hand forward.

"I don't think you'll want to be my friend. I am-" Jay took a step back and began to speak but Sunghoon stopped him, "I know that you are part of that gang. But you don't belong there. You are a good person, Jay."

Jay hesitantly shook his hand and smiled wide, he was a good person, Sunghoon called him a good person.

He was so happy that he could burst in tears. He uttered, "I would love to be your friend but I don't think the other gang members would like that, they will bring more trouble for you and at that time I wouldn't be able to protect you."

"If that means you'll be free then Jay, we will face it together. Jake had always been there for me; I want to be there for you, it's my time to protect you." Sunghoon reassured him and then placed another hand on Jay's hand.

"I am sorry Sunghoon, I don't think I'll be able to-" Jay imparted desolately. He wanted to be friends with Sunghoon, but that would bring a lot of trouble and he was afraid to handle it, he just wasn't ready yet.

"It's okay! Our friendship would be a secret. You are my little secret Jay." Sunghoon cheekily grinned, trying to cheer Jay.

Jay smiled brighter than ever and eagerly bobbed his head.

"So, we are friends now, promise?" Sunghoon pulled out his little pinkie from his fist and arched up his eyebrow.

Jay intertwined his pinkie and agreed, "Promise!"
