Chapter 31: Happier than ever

"No! Hold on!" Aria exclaimed when she saw what video was playing. Joshua paused the video and everyone was curiously looking at Aria.

The girl cleared her throat. "That Video... it was taken after I found out that my ex boyfriend had been cheating on me... he pulled the memory of my family through the dirt and I acted out."

The guys nodded understandingly so Aria motioned for Joshua to continue with that video.

"You're a lying ass bitch Connor!" Aria's voice came from the video. "How dare you talk like that!"

"Aria I need you to calm down" Came a guy's voice.

"I will not calm down!" Before Connor could react a glass came flying his direction, missing his head merely by inches.

Something inaudible was said by Aria's ex boyfriend, causing her to downright screech at him and throw two other glasses accompanied by a plate with spaghetti.

Connor ducked and even he looked terrified at Aria. Her usually neat curl were sticking up everywhere from her head, her eyes were bloodshot and had a wild, almost psychotic steer in them. Spaghetti sauce was dripping though her fingers, pooling on the floor.

Before Connor could react she threw another plate with Spaghetti that nearly hit him. It was closely followed by another glass that shattered in front of his feet.

Up in the video, Aria kept throwing plates, glasses and cups at Connor, accompanied with non understandable screeching, crying and screaming.

Suddenly the video was paused again by Julian. He looked at Aria who had tears streaming down her face. "I think we saw enough."

Aria looked up to see everyone eyeing her, shock prominent in some of their features.

"That Video... let me show you the original please." Aria asked, her question directed to Jamal who looked downright scared.

"Connor had hid the camera behind a plant in the living room. He knew he would get a rise out of me with what he was doing." She explained while she was going through her gallery. "Cassie interrupted us and found the video. She stopped it and made sure it was deleted from Connor's pho- Here! I found it!"

She opened the video and shared her screen on the TV.

Connor was carefully hiding a phone behind a flower pot.

Suddenly, the sound of a door unlocking made him dart away, standing in the living room. The door opened, revealing an exhausted Aria who sunk down on the sofa.

"Hey." Connor mumbled, causing Aria to look up. "How's your first day without medication been?"

"Absolutely horrible. I am always on edge and smallest things rile me up like nothing else."

Connor just nodded. One could practically see the pieces falling into place in his head.

"Is everything okay Connor? You seem nervous and conflicted." Aria checked in.

There was a long silence before  Connor blurted out "I cheated on you."

Aria's mouth flew open and she jumped up. "You what?' You what?"
