Chapter Three: Stuntin like a Dumbass

Campbell's POV

I wake up feeling my head pounding, I squint my eyes as I feel pain in my right eye but soon remember the events of last night, fuck how am I going to hide this from my dad

I get up and stretch and instantly feel soreness in my legs from all the running I did, thankfully it's not a lot but I'm definitely walking slower than normal today, I regret ever going to that party

My plan failed and I saw my ex who I never want to see ever in my entire life ever, I get up and get dressed before pulling my hoodie over my head because the fuck I look like getting caught

I walk downstairs to see no one but a note on the fridge, I go over to it and take it off the fridge and read it

Had to go in early this morning, be home on time unless you sign up for a sport or club because we have a guest coming over~ Dad

I sigh in relief because I don't have to hide my black eye from him and I have time to cover it up

I grab a granola bar before making my way to the bus stop to see Rue's sister standing there

"Hey where is your sister" I say, she just shrugs causing me to look at her confused, I pull my phone out and text her before seeing the bus pull up and I get on with her sister, we sit down and Rue runs up on the bus

"Where were you" I say but she nods and just falls asleep causing me to sigh, she was exhausted and she won't talk if she's tired

The bus pulls up to school and we get off, she heads over with her friends and I just walk in by myself since Rue was being very slow, I walk into school and instantly head to my locker

I look over to see Maddy walking down the hall confidently, I smile but look away since her friends hated her

"Hey Campbell" I hear behind me, Is she actually talking to me right now, I turn around to see Maddy and her friends

"Oh Hey Maddy, the bitches she hangs out with" I say causing them to scoff but Maddy to laugh a bit

"What happened to you at the party, I didn't get to see you" Maddy says causing me to smile, she noticed I was gone

"Oh Umm something personal happened so I had to leave" I say awkwardly

"Well maybe we should hang out some time" She says but her friends all look at her like she's lost her mind

"Yes that would be cool, after school today or do you have practice" I say causing her to think before looking at me

"I have practice but wait for me after, here send me your address" Maddy says handing me her phone, I smirk subconsciously and take it before putting my number in and putting my name as Future wife😏❤️

I hand her back her phone and she looks at it and smirks up at me before waving as leaving with her friends

I watch her leave but soon I'm thrown into the locker by none other than Nate himself, I shake my head at him but decide to head to class instead of starting something

I wait outside of the school for Maddy like we planned, I look at my phone and see Rue texted me but I decide to ignore it, shes using again and I don't wanna be around that because I know how she gets when she's high

I look over to see Maddy coming towards me holding her bag, I smile at her causing her to smile

We she approaches me she takes my hands into hers as she looks into my eyes with this look that makes me go weak in seconds, I look over to see Nate staring at us causing me look back at her, I know what she's doing

"Ready to go" Maddy says innocently, this would normally turn me on and make me swoon but knowing what she's doing is making that hard, no pun intended

"Yea but are you done trying to make your ex jealous" I say causing her face to drop

"What do you mean Campbell.....I wanna hang out with you and I think your cute" She says causing me to smile a bit but let it fall after

"I'm not stupid, I saw Nate looking at us and I know you want to make him jealous but can I say this" I say causing her to nod

"You don't have to make him jealous, he clearly doesn't want you for you because if he did, he would have done better by now I mean you are gorgeous and I know your smart too so don't sell yourself short ok, you deserve better" I say honestly, she smiles at me and hugs me

I hugs back a little caught off guard and breath in her scent which makes my knees go weak for a second

"Ok well I still wanna hang out with you Cam so can we go to your house" Maddy says cutely causing me to nod and try to open the door for her but it doesn't open causing her to laugh

"I drove genuine and that's not my car" She says causing me to blush, she grabs my hand and leads me to her car where I open her door for her and she thanks me before I run over to the passenger side and get in

We drive to my house and head in to my room, I throw my bag on the floor and plop on my bed while taking my shoes off

"Well this is where I live" I say as I look over to her to her examining my room, she looks over to me and sits on the edge of my bed

"It's nice, don't your live right across from Rue" She says and I just nod

"We'll do you wanna watch Netflix" I say,she looks at me strangely and I quickly realized what I just said

"Not like that, like actually watch Netflix" I say quickly, she nods and smiles at me before coming up more in the bed and cuddling into me

I turn on a movie that we agree on and we watch it while occasionally joking and playing around

A few hours past and lots of jokes and getting to know each other later they come downstairs since Maddy's mom called, as we come down we  hear two voices causing us to look in the kitchen to see My dad and a women I've never seen before

"Um hey dad" I say confused, he looks toward me with a wide smile till suddenly he sees that I have a guest

"Hey Campbell, who's your friend" He says rather angrily causing me to ignore him

"This is Maddy, we have a few classes together, who's this" I say with a smile to keep up an act but he knows exactly what tone I'm using causing him to straighten up, I turn to Maddy who looks frozen in her spot at the sight of the women

"Umm this is Marsha, she's the women I have been seeing for a while" My Dad says causing me to freeze

"Oh...." Is all I say before the doorbell rings causing us all to look at the door, my father walks up to me and bends down to my ear

"Your guest needs to leave now, we have more guest coming over" He says aggressively causing me to bump him away, he cowers away from me causing Maddy to look at me confused

"What's up with your dad" She says causing me to just wave it off, suddenly he door opens to reveal my worst nightmare

Nate Jacobs standing at my door with a smug look on his face

A/n ohhhhh shiitttttttttt ok well I updated this and well ummm I have realized that I'm writing a lot more for this than I thought I won't lie, mainly because of the character episodes so yea lmao and this is technically "nates episode" so ummm watch the show please
