Chapter Thrity-Two: Mess

Campbell's POV

I separate from Maddy as she checks on Kat, I go and get a water since I wanna be sober for when I drive Nate and I home

I keep walking and with BB and see Cassie as she downs a drink, I immediately walk over to her worriedly and grab the can

"Woah girl...chill.....you good" I ask, I may not like Cassie but she's like family to Maddy and I'll just accept her especially since this is also Lexi's sister

Plus she ain't deserve them videos bein put out there, I empathize with her especially since I know how it feels to be exposed

"I'm fine.....just wanna drink" She says before taking the can from me and downing the rest, I've seen people emotionally drink and she's definitely doing that for some reason

"You sure.....because at that rate your going, your gonna be miserable tomorrow" I say with a light chuckle coming out and Cassie suddenly looks up at me with a doh eyed look

I frown my eyebrows and just try to help her up, she immediately latches onto me and leans against my shoulder

I feel her hands on my sides and with her nails digging into me a bit as she giggles drunkenly

"Your so sweet Campbell......I'm sorry for being a bitch to you" She says as she moves her hand to my faces and cups it

I immediately moved her hand away and try to hold her up better before moving her against the wall, causing her to bite her lip which I look away from her uncomfortably

"Uh...thanks Cassie.....uh I'll get you a water" I say before going to walk away but Cassie grabs my jacket and pulls me back

"Your a really...good person" She says in an almost sensual voice causing me to cringe both mentally and physically

"Uh thanks...." I say, suddenly I feel her hug me tightly, my nose is hit with the familiar smell I haven't seemed to forget about

Wait.....IS NATE FUCKING CASSIE AND ANNA

I immediately pull away and push her off to her mother who thankfully came to my rescue, I go to the living room to see Maddy and Kat dancing

I shake off the weird and gross feeling I have right now and walk to Maddy

"Hey Uh...babe...can we talk" I ask and Maddy gives me an annoyed look before walking away from Kat and out of the living room

"What Campbell, thought you were busy with Cassie" She says and I sigh

"She's drunk and latched onto me....but that's who I wanna talk to you about....I think shes fucking Nate" I say and Maddy looks at me as if I just called her a bitch

"Excuse me! Cassie would never do that to me...her and Nate never once have been close and you saying this after letting her be all over you is really something" Maddy says and I rub my face in frustration

"I was not letting her rub up on me, she's drunk and I got worried ok, look I keep smelling her perfume in the house and she hasn't been over without you there...and you haven't been over for a while" I say and Maddy shakes her head

"Well I don't believe you....she'd never go after my ex especially someone who abused me....her flirting with you is not gonna happen again because ima talk to her and you need to learn how to tell these girls off like I've been saying" She argues

"I haven't been letting anyone flirt with me....god can you not be jealous for one second, especially since I can't be when you invited your abusive ex here" I say and she scoffs with a laugh

"Can you not bring my ex into our conversations, you told me it bothers you and I stopped mentioning him, so making that accusation is telling me your still not over him and our relationship...like are you still jealous of him...and why when there's nothing to be jealous over" Maddy says and I roll my eyes

"Believe what you want but when it comes out....don't blame me" I say angrily before walking to the living room and sitting on the couch next to Lexi

"You ok...." Lexi asks and I shake my head

"No....just need to relax for a minute" I say and Lexi nod before grabbing my hand, i intertwine our fingers

Glad in this time away from Rue, I've gotten a friend in Lexi..I don't know why I didn't like her before

"Campbell...I wanna leave" Nate says walking over and I roll my eyes

"Well I don't so call an Uber or something" I say and he rolls his eyes beside walking to the hallway, I follow him and see Maddy walking out with Suze who gives me a sympathetic look

I see Maddy looking at Nate and I with a conflicted look

"Campbell isn't going anywhere Nate....babe, let's go change into our swimsuits" Maddy says as she grabs my hand

I hear footsteps causing Maddy and i to look over and see Cassie walking downstairs in a bright pink swimsuit, she stares holes into my head as well as Nate's causing me to ball my fists

How did I not notice anything

I look to Maddy and she looks at me with a conflicted look before dragging me up the stairs and to Cassie and Lexi's room

Something tells me things are gonna go downhill

A/n well uhhhhhh Cassie is a mess, Maddy is still jealous of every female and well....Fuck Nate Jacobs
