I sigh as I get off the phone with Gia, apparently Rue is smoking weed or something which I know is bullshit because based off how Gia described what she was doing, she's off that shit worse than before
I sigh and lay back in my bed just thinking, maybe she'll be open to therapy I mean it's helped me a lot lately and I feel pretty good minus my dad acting like a 5 year old that can't mind their business
But that won't work
I can't get through to her trust me I've tried
Flashback to a week before
"Hey Rue...wanna hang out" I ask as I walk up to Rue's locker, she turns to me and I can tell right off the bat that she's high as hell
"Sure but can Elliot come...he's chill I promise" Rue says and I sigh
"Fine, we can hang out anywhere" I say and star tru regrets saying that
Time skip
I sit in Elliot's house as Rue and him smile and snort shit, I sit there bored as they both get high on some shit that look like powdered sugar..which it is definitely not that
"Yo...Campbell, you sure you don't want any" Elliot asks for the fifth time causing me to roll my eyes
"I said I'm good already" I say a little hostile and he puts his hands up
"Suit yourself... but tell me about yourself, Rue to,d me you guys have known each other since you guys were kids" He asks
"Not much to know, just a regular teenager" I say casually as I text Maddy to pick me up
"So you don't got any hobbies or anything" He asks and I shrug
"No..I don't" I say and he shrugs before grabbing his guitar and strumming a bit, I stay to myself as Rue does god knows what, I text Fez who hasn't stopped checking up on me lately
I look over and see Rue getting ready to snort a big ass line, she's already snorted a lot since I've been here for like two hours now
"Hey hey..rue chill you've had enough" I say as I go over to her and pull the gray away from her, she sits up and smiles before lazily trying to get the tray from me
"Come on Cam...just a little more" She says and I refused
"Nah you've had a lot today, chill and your supposed to be at NA today anyway" I say as I push her away from me
"Hey man just give her back the tray she'll be good by then" Elliot says and I look at him like she's stupid
"Bro she's already an addict.,,and your not helping" I say and he sighs and gets up as Rue collapses on the bed
"Neither are you....look she's chillin and she's not gonna die cause I got her...so relax" Elliot says before taking the tray and giving it to Rue who snorts the rest before I can take it again
