Chapter Seven: The Carnival

Campbell's POV

I walk around the carnival with Maddie, after the incident with my ex Maddie hasn't left my side even at school which has pissed off her friends who don't like but especially Nate

Flashback

I walk into school with Maddie as she holds my arm and walks me to my locker

"How are you feeling Campbell, did they bitch try to contact you" Maddie says and shake my head no

"Good because she's got to go through me before she tries to get to you again" She says and smile at her but soon it goes away when I see Nate walking up to us

"Maddie....why haven't you returned my calls and why are you near this freak" He says as he grabs her arm and I roll my eyes at him and close my locker

"Nate mind your business ok, I am being a good friend so stop being an asshole and deal with it" Maddie says as he rips her arm away from him and walks off leaving Nate and I alone, he walk close to me until we're basically head to head

"Watch your back freak because she mine and if you touch her....I'll kill you" He says before shoving me into the locker, I laugh as I watch him walk off before heading to class

Later in that day

I walk around the baseball field as collect the loose balls in the field when suddenly I feel a presence behind me, I turn around to see Maddie eyeing me up and down in my baseball uniform

"Hey sexy, you done with practice" She says and I blush and walk over to her

"Yea just finished" I say and she nods as she looks at down towards my.....area then to my face

"Have you seen her today" Maddie says with distaste

"No luckily" I say and Maddie smiles and before she can say anything, Nate honks his horn and gets out his truck

"Ugh gotta go Cam but listen if that bitch comes near you, call me" She says and I nod and watch her walk off and passed Nate who angrily tells her to get in the car as he walks towards me till he's a few feet away

"What did I tell you about talking to Maddie freak" He says as he comes closer to me, he thinks he can intimidate me just because he's a bit taller but only by like 2 inches

"You really think ima listen to you Nathaniel" I say and he clenches his jaw at that, he hates when I call him his full first name

"Listen freak....your in thin ice with me ok and I won't hesitate to kill you especially since you have done a few things that I know your not proud of and you don't deserve to breath the same air as me......so get it together"  He says calmly yet angrily

"Well Nate.....what did I do to not deserve your air, I mean if I'm that bad then why don't you kill me right now" I say taunting him, he glares and looks at me before walking off to his truck and speaking off

"Ha pussy" I say as I finish what I was doing

End of flashback

"Nate is a fucking dick" She says and I laugh as I eat the pretzel she got from Ashtray along with some Molly, Cassie got one too but I didn't since I don't wanna do drugs at all
