Chapter Twenty-Nine: Encounters

Campbell's POV

I stand in the bathroom with Maddy, Kat, Rue, Cassie and Lexi, they keep arguing about this play that Cassie is in and Cassie starts having freakin out about her outfit which is....interesting

We watch her just stare into the mirror and fix her hair causing Rue and i to look at each other with a confused look

"Campbell were you in a fight" Kat asks causing me to look at her confused till I remember the fight my father and I have

"Oh uh yea....some scuffle with Nate" I say and Kat nods, I look over to Maddy who gives me a look and I give her one back causing her to just peck my lips

I feel eyes on me causing me to look over and see Cassie looking at us sadly, I frown my eyebrows and just look to Maddy who is staring holes into Cassie's head

Fez's POV

I collect all the bags of drugs I gotta move, I look over to see Ash helping out but I notice his eyes are cold, he ain't been the same since the whole Mouse incident and I'm hella worried

Along with Rue's stupid ass plan, Faye staying and Lexi's play...it's been a lot plus I gotta try and make this plan for Cam's father work so Ash don't go down for this shît

"What you thinkin about" Custer says causing me to look over

"Nothin man....I got a lot on my plate" I say and Custer just nods

"I feel that, you think the cops looking for us or do they know if he's dead yet" He asks and sigh as I start to feel annoyed by him

"Mmcht stop bein paranoid...we'll be good just gotta watch out for Andrew man and keep things low profile...i already gotta get these drug's out" I say and Custer just nods, I look over at Ash who looks very cold towards Custer

Campbell's POV

I lay in bed listing to music as I hear Nate's door open and shut before his heavy footstep make it down the stairs

I shrug and keep listing to music and shut my eyes, music has kinda been my avenue for peace, my therapist recommended I find a coping mechanism that isn't violence or retaliation

I smile as I nod my head to the beat and start tapping my fingers to it, i start thinking of how I can rap or sing to this beat/ instrumental

I grab my notepad and start writing lyrics that go with the song, it being backseat freestyle by Kendrick

I smile proudly as I look down at the page full of lyrics before going and writing another one to Money tress and King Kunta

I'm taken out of my song writing daze when suddenly I hear loud moaning coming from Nates room, I groan in irritation and immediately get up from my bed and go to my desk

I turn up the music on my beats and keep writing, thank god he found someone to fuck with instead of my girl

Rue Narration

Campbell was clueless to things that were right near her, she started to grow a lover for music especially since he helped her not listen to her father and Nate having sex and it kept her occupied

No One's POV

Andre and Marsha sat at the kitchen island as they listened to the many moan and groans coming from Cassie and Nate upstairs, while Cal just sat there in deep thought, not really taking in what's going on

"What I would give to be back in high school" Marsha says as she takes a drink from her glass

"Yea....we used to fuck like that" Andrew says teasingly towards Marsha who laugh and pushes him playfully, Cal looks at them but looks away as he thinks of his high school days

He misses it, he was at the top of his game, on top of the world...with Derrick and he cant help but feel a tug in his heart at the thought of his first love

The one that got away when Marsha became pregnant

"Hey Cal....you ever fuck Marsha like that" Andrew says taking Cal out of his thoughts

"Maybe....not that I want to talk about that" Cal says as he notices Marsha becoming uncomfortable at this question

"Come on man....hey remember when we talked after graduation......I mean like after the ceremony...when we talked in the hallway" Andrew says before quickly lying

"Yea...I remember a lot about that day" Cal says sadly before walking off to the basement, Marsha sigh and gets up to get another drink while Andrew follows Cal downstairs

"Cal I didn't mean to bring that night up....just forget it" Andrew says as she sees Cal at his work bench, he's sanding down some sort of wood carving he made

"Don't worry....I'm not the one worried about that night....at least in the same way you are" Cal says and Andrew looks at him weirdly

"What is that supposed to mean....you kiss Derrick too" Andrew says teasingly, Cal stops what he's doing and remains silent causing Andrew's face to fall and his heart to crack into pieces

"You.....you did..kiss Derrick" He says in a stutter

"I did....why do you care, your the one that punched me hours before I kissed him" Cal says as he puts his carving down and faces Andrew who looks oddly heartbroken which confuses Cal further

"I...I don't...just surprised since you two seemed really cool" Andrew says and Cal decides to test something

"You sure that's what it is" Cal says as she approaches Andrew and Andrew starts fumbling over his words as he tries to respond

"I...uh you kissed me you faggot and you kissing Derrick just confirms what I found out that night" He stutters out as Cal gets so close that Andrew can smell his breath

"I'd I didn't know any better, I'd say you...felt something for me...felt something in that kiss" Cal says, he's not sure if Andrew did or not, he's just trying to get a reaction

"I didn't...back away faggot" Andrew says and Cal decides to be bold and grab Andrew's belt buckle and pull him close, Cal's eyes widen as he feels something poking his leg

Cal goes to look down and Andrew does the same before quickly punching Cal and walking out do the basement and to Marsha

Cal stares at the basement door confused and oddly curious as to what that whole thing was

Was Andrew....actually into him

A/n ahahahaha sorry this scene is so fucking weird and I can't imagine being a parent and hearing that loud ass moaning but it happens like it's weird to think about especially as a teen/ adult and even as a parent

Also how y'all feel about that whole scene with Andre and Cal lol
