Chapter Fourteen: Money Trouble

Campbell's POV

I get out of the car with my dad as we head to Fez's door, I look over to my dad who looks terrified

He looks at me and I bet I have the same face he does, he gulps and knock on the door and we wait for someone to open the door and after waiting a bit Fez answers the door and he looks just like us

"Yo...come in" He says and we walk in slowly and make our way towards the living room and see Mouse along with his bitch Custer

"I've been waiting for y'all....come sit" Mouse says not even turn to look at us, I gulp and look at my father who looks just as terrified

No one's POV

"I don't know what your gonna say but this feels like...really dramatic" Kat says as she looks to Cassie, not catching the glare from Maddy who hasn't stopped glaring at Kat since she walked in

"Yea this is spooky" BB says

"It's not spooky BB, I just need your advise on two things and I need you guys to promise not to say a single fucking word" Cassie says and her friends and sister nod

As Cassie is talking, Kat is looking at Maddy with a little fear as she knows there's something going on with her and Campbell but Kat reassures herself that Maddy wants Nate and Campbell is just hooking up with her

"So, the night of Daniels Halloween party, something happened" Cassie says and Maddy instantly glances at Kat who visibly gulps at the memories of her and Campbell that night and the night after

As Cassie explains her dilemma with telling McKay everything that happened, Lexi notices Kay's body language shift and Maddy's subtle glances at Kat that were less then friendly

Kat barely listens to what Cassie is saying as she watches Maddy closes, after Cassie says something about Halloween she saw Maddy's face and instantly knew that Maddy saw her and Campbell at some point

"But but like I don't want there to be something that's like between us for like forever" Cassie says unsurely

"I wouldn't worry about it Cassie, it's not like you guys are gonna be together forever" Kat says casually

"Kat what the fuck is your problem, your being a bad friend now and you were and still are being a bad friend to me" Maddy says and Kat scoffs

"How am I being a bad friend to you Maddy, just because I changed and I don't wanna hear you bullshit about your psycho abusive boyfriend all the time" Kat says angrily

"Not just that but you also are fucking Campbell when you know there's something between us" She says angrily

"Worldstar" BB says as she sinks in her seat and Lexi just watches

"You guys aren't fucking together and your with Nate so she and I can do whatever we want, your just being selfish" Kat says truthfully, as much as it may not be a good thing to sleep with Campbell, Maddy has Nate and Campbell can do what she wants

"Your being a fucking cunt....I miss the old Kat" Maddy says and Kat stays silent, she has been changing for her and to hear her best friend say that felt like a slap in the face and as if her changing for her or how she's been changing wasn't what her friends liked

Kat grabs her jacket and storms out as tears stream down her face, meanwhile Maddy is rethinking her relationship with Nate and how it makes her feel

Campbell is single and well....better for Maddy than Nate is

Campbell's POV

I sit in the couch as Mouse stares me down with an impatient look on his face

"So where the fuck is my money, I've been waitin all summer long and haven't gotten shit yet" He says and I look to my father who's nearly speechless

"I will have your money soon, I just....got a lot I've been doing but I'll get it I just need time" My father says and I internally scream because that's not what you say when a DRUG DEALER IS IMPATIENT ABOUT HIS MONEY

"I've been waiting for months now, get me my money or ima have to do some shit you not gon like....like takin ya head off along with ya daughters head" Mouse says with quotes around daughter

"Don't touch my daughter punk, I'll get your money but don't you ever threaten my child" My father says angrily as he gets up and Mouse does too but much calmer which is scarier than anything

"You sure she's yours cause something tells me she's not......and that something is when I was dopin ya wife up.....she talks a lot especially when she was high, and she screamed a lot too" Mouse says with a smirk, I cringe at that fact that my mother fucked this guy probably for drugs

My father stays silent telling me that, that hit him in a weak spot

"Don't ever come at me like that again because you gon be in the dirt if you do.....get me my money, you got until tomorrow" He says before looking to Fez

"And you got that weight I'm telling you to push to both ya ass need to get me my money soon or we gon have problems" He says before leaving with Custer behind him

"Fuck man" I say rubbing my head in frustration, I would have thought my father had the money by now but he doesn't

I feel my phone vibrate and I take it out to see it's another manic Rue text about how she's cracked the case on the whole Nate situation and how he's been fucking with Jules, I close my phone without responding and look at my father who's still in the same spot just staring at the floor

"Dad what are you gonna do....we don't got a lot of time" I say and he just looks at me with so much anger in him, he approaches me menacingly as he stares me in my face

"You caused this whole thing....so don't you ever ask me that question" He shouts before pushing me aside and walking out and slamming the front door

I sigh and look to Fez who looks worried but I wave him off, as I walk to the door I see Ashtray looking on with a look in his face I've seen too many times

I quickly turn away as I plan on what ima do to get out of this, I can't even bring myself to think of punishing my father for that shit he just pulled
