Maddy's POV

I cuddle with Campbell as we watch tv in her room, I laugh at one of the jokes that guys says in tv before lookin over

I see a black phone sitting on the table next to us causing me to look at her but something in me said don't say anything and take it later, I feel the feeling I got when Nate's phone was going off but I push it down

Campbell would never cheat or hide things from me like that

After a bit my mom texts me to come home, I get up but Campbell pulls me down causing me to laugh

"Noooo I don't want you to go" She says and I giggle at her cuteness, she's so much more loving then Nate

I hope this talk with him goes well

"I have to leave baby, my mom wants me home and I have to babysit tomorrow" I say as I get out of her grip and she lets me but with a pout

"Fine....are you sure you don't want me to come to the babysitting job with you when you talk to Nate" She says and I nod and cup her face

"I'll be fine and I'll bring the taser you gave me and the knife just in case" I say and she smiles before I peck her lips and swipe the phone in one motion

"Ok...let me walk you out" Campbell says before taking my hand and walking me to her door, I look in the living room to see her father and Marsha looking at us as he drinks a beer but Marsha just smiles and turns away

I smile back and kiss Campbell goodnight before walking to my car, I drive home and get into my room and lay on my bed

I take the black phone out and open it to see one call has been made, I frown my eyebrows and call the number

"Hello Carson James here" A mans voices says casually, I freeze in my spot and my spot and instantly hang up and I grab my phone and look for Campbell's location

I see it's turned off and Immediately go to Snapchat and see her at Anne's house, I feel a sinking feeling and immediately rush out of my house

I get in my car and drive to Anne's house to see Campbell's car there and a tall figure walking up the driveway

I run up to them and turn them around to see Campbell looking like a dear in the headlights

"What are you doing here Maddy" She says nervously and I shake my head

"I should be asking you that, why are you at your abusive ex's house" I say and Campbell tenses up as I can see her mind going a million miles a minute

"Campbell....what is going through your head right now" I say as I step closer to her, Campbell looks everywhere but me, before pulling me toward my car and letting out a deep breath

"I- Anne has been taunting me when your not around and I........I came here to hurt her" She says and I feel my body to numb, has she been stalking her ex

"Campbell....this isn't ok, I know what she did to you was fucked up but you can't do this anymore, you need help and I trusted you and you lied to me...you know I hate liars and secrets" I say sincerely and I see Campbell wrestling with herself inside

"But what do I do Maddy, she is constantly badgering me, reminding me of the hurt she did to me every day and if feel like I have to just sit back and take it...this the only way" Campbell yells but not at me, I walk closer to her and cup her face as I can see tears racing down

"Baby you can report her...get a restraining order something but violence is not the answer to everything...your better than that, I know you are" I say as I feel tears coming down my face as well

"Ok...I'm sorry" She says as I see more tears fall from her eyes, I pull her close and try to comfort her as she apologizes and her body shakes

I think she's realizing what she was about to do

"Don't keep things from me....I know why you were doing this but this isn't the way to handle it...if you feel like harming her or anyone please come to me" I say sternly and I feel her nod as I run my hands up and down her back and the hurt in my chest from her lying to me

Campbell's POV

I break my burner phone and throw it in the trash before pulling out my laptop and looking at therapist's in the area, i need to do this especially with my thoughts driving me to that point

I saw the fear in Maddy's eyes when I told her what I was doing and even more fear came when I said I had been doing this since Halloween when the taunting started, I still am in shock of what I could have done tonight if Maddy a
Hadn't been there

"Hey Campbell whatcha doin" Marsha says coming up to the open door

"Oh Umm...looking for..therapists" I say hesitantly

"Oh...well um just tell me when you find one and I can help with the paperwork" She says and I smile happily and nod

"Great but uh Goodnight sweetheart" Marsha says

"Goodnight..Marsha" I say and she smiles before closing my door, I sigh softly as I smile a little at her helping me, Andrew isn't fond of therapists because well he is abusive and didn't want the police after him because of his image

It may be nice to get some help

A/n helloooooo I'm writing for this story because it's been staring me in my face for too long lol but yea and well I relate to Rue on a deep level and it isn't exactly positive and Campbell is kinda me but not so yea
