The following afternoon my mother and I had my father laid to rest in the royal family's cemetery with royal vampire kingdoms in attendance to pay their respects to my father.
"Queen Lilith, I am so sorry for your loss." Prince's Damien and Demon said.
"Thank you for attending it means a lot." I replied.
After the funeral my family and I hosted a small get together with our friends I am sitting at a table in the ballroom with Rosalie, Devil, Onyx, Vicious, and Damon.
"Lil, how are you holding up?"
"I'm fine,"
Damon held my hand under the table and rubbed soothing circles on the back of my hand with his thumb.
"We'll leave tomorrow so you and Damon can start your life as a married couple." Devil said.
"Thank you for staying here during this tough time." I replied.
"You are more than welcome,"
Later on, that evening my friends, Damon, and I are sitting in the living room with my mother.
"Mom how are you holding up?" I asked.
"I'm fine still trying to process everything that happened." my mother responded.
"Queen Haley, you don't have to live at the estate alone there is enough room for you here at the castle."
"Thank you for the offer, Damon but I want to live at the estate because I always felt home there don't worry you and Lilith can visit me. And I will come visit you both as well."
It was starting to get late my mother, Rosalie, Devil, Onyx, and Vicious, Damon, and I walked upstairs to our rooms and went to bed.
