A Beyblade Burst fanfic: The White Tyrant's Starlight (Lui Shirosagi x OC)

Chapter 6

It has been months since Maiko started studying in Rideout academy. And she's been hanging out with Rideout lately.

And because of this, she wrote tons of new songs.

But most importantly, she's on Lui's good side.

They always stick together. Well, more like Maiko keeps sticking to Lui.

But the surprising part is, Lui never shoved her away.

In fact, he loved her presence.

He doesn't know why... But he loves being with her

They always eat lunch together (well, more like, Maiko eats her lunch, while Lui trains). They even go to each other's house to do homework together.

Speaking of which, it's lunch time. Lui stood up and started to walk away. But stopped when he realised his companion was still organising some stuff. He waited patiently for Maiko to finish.

Who would've thought? That the great Lui Shirosagi, the 4 time national champion, and the very person who gave Shu a scar, wait for someone??

And when Maiko was finally done, Lui began walking. And Maiko race walked up to him.

When they made it to the gym, Lui first changed into his training clothes, while Maiko went inside Lui's training room, and sat on the floor.

It was very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the large chords hitting the ground. While Maiko was eating, she was worried about her blue friend. She never saw him eat lunch.

Lui stopped for a bit to breathe some air. When suddenly, a spoon filled with rice and a fried fish on top appeared in front of him.

He looked to the side and saw Maiko smiling widely while holding the spoon in front of him. He raised a brow at her actions.

"Get that away from me." Lui scoffed and gently shoved her hand away. This caused Maiko to pout. "Come on Lui! I never see you eat lunch! This isn't healthy! What's the use of training anyway if you're malnourished?!" She gently scolded and held up the spoon in front of him again.

This hit Lui.

"𝐴𝑟𝑔ℎ! 𝑆ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡." He thought to himself.

Maiko was mentally dancing to herself. Cause she must've talked some sense into Lui, seeing as he was furrowing his brows and stayed silent.

He groaned before taking a bite.

"𝑊-𝑤𝑎𝑖𝑡... 𝐼 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑡𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑎 𝑏𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑜𝑛... 𝐷𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛... 𝑊𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠?!" The girl thought to herself.

Maiko let out a blush and also a giggle.

And indirect kiss from the great Lui Shirosagi... Now that's something you don't experience everyday...

Lui was chewing quietly, his eyes closed, and eyebrows furrowed. And he took another bite out of Maiko's lunch.

A little while later, both of them were now sitting on the floor.

Maiko still feeding Lui.

"There! Eating lunch is delightful isn't it? Tee hee~" She giggled while arranging her lunchbox.

Lui looked away, a blush coating his cheeks, not saying anything. Maiko just giggled.

Maiko was about to feed Lui again, up until Gabe opened the door. But widened his eyes as soon as he saw Maiko and Lui sitting in the floor. Maiko leaning into Lui, a spoon in her hand.

"I-I'm sorry, I think I'm interrupting something.." Just as he was abt to walk out, a flustered Maikocaught up to him.

"A-ahh no no! It's not what you think!" She exclaimed. Her face as red as a tomato. Gabe just smirked. While Lui looked away, fighting a blush.

"Well, we're having a team meeting, come and join us when you're done." He said as he walked out.

Hearing the announcement, Maiko quickly arranged her lunchbox. When she finished, Lui stood up and held out a hand to help her.

What a gentleman...

And they both walk out of the room.

Just as they were about to enter the club room, "Oh wait!" Maiko stopped, as she noticed some rice on Lui's face. She quickly grabbed her handkerchief and wiped it. "There~" She grinned widely.

Lui was now blushing real hard.

While walking inside the room, Lui remained a poker face. But that's not what his mind says...

"𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦! 𝐷𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒?!"

"𝑈𝑔𝑔ℎℎℎ 𝐼 𝐻𝐴𝑇𝐸 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔!"

"𝑊𝐻𝐴𝑇 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐻𝐸𝐶𝐾 𝐼𝑆 𝑆𝐻𝐸 𝑀𝐴𝐾𝐼𝑁𝐺 𝑀𝐸 𝐹𝐸𝐸𝐿?!?!"

"𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑚 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝐿𝑢𝑖, 𝐼'𝑚 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑡'𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑔𝑜 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑠𝑜𝑜𝑛."

He glared at Maiko.
