Since it's a special day for me today, here's an update <3

It was a vacant day for Rideout, since they won't be battling today, and they're all done with their training. And since that neither of the teams that Maiko's rooting for is battling today, she thought it would be the perfect time to practice for the contest.

She wore her training clothes and went to the gym. She thought about pulling some stunts in her performance for a sure win.

She thought that Aerial moves can bring in some razzle dazzle in her performance.

If her brother can do stunts, she can too.

But she still doesn't know how to balance herself. And now, she's hanging upside down.

"All the blood is rushing through my head..." She groaned. Her trainer just chuckled at her state. Maiko glared at her.

"Oh it's alright! You're still learning! You'll get the hang of it!" Her trainer reassured. "But first, let's get you down from there."Her trainer said as she untangled Maiko, causing her to fall down. Luckily there was foam underneath.

"ARGH! I'LL NEVER GET THE HANG OF IT!" She screamed, scrambling up her hair.

"Oh don't worry!" Her trainer reassured. Maiko just sighed.

"Wanna know the secret to doing it?" Her trainer asked.

Maiko eagerly nodded.

"Just don't look down and don't think about being mid-air. just think that you're still in the ground, dancing." She said.

Maiko wasn't sure if this was helpful, but she'll try to drive her fears away.

Just as she was about to do her second attempt, the door to the gym opened revealing....

Rideout??

Maiko gasped in surprise, and ran up to them.

"W-what are you guys doing here?" She asked them. It was rare for them to go anywhere else as a team

.....But it was more shocking when Lui is also with them.

He was silent, but was glaring at everything.

"We came to visit you of course!" Gabe answered with a small smile. "Awwww you guysss!!" Maiko blushed.

"What are you doing anyway?" Shinki asked, touching a long ribbon that was hanging from the ceiling. "Aerial moves." Maiko answered. "I plan to add them to my performance." She explained. "Cool!" Katana said.

"Psh! This looks easy enough!" Kyo boasted. "I wish it was." Maiko sweat dropped. "I've been trying to balance for hours but I still can't do it..." She sighed. "Plsss! It looks like even babies can do it!" Kyo boasted some more (Even tho he didn't even try it once, his whole life).

Maiko looked down in shame.

Gabe nudged Kyo to shut up and motioned to look behind him. When Kyo looked behind, he was met with Lui's deadly glare. Kyo shivered under his intimidating aura and quickly zipped his mouth.

Maiko's trainer clapped her hands loudly, getting everyone's attention.

"How about I teach you all how to do this? Hmm?" She offered with a large grin on her face.

Maiko's face quickly lit up. Doing this with her friends is gonna be fun! But she looked at Lui.

"How about you kid?" Her trainer asked Lui. "Not interested." Lui scoffed and went to go sit at a bench.

But the other members agreed anyway.

-Gabe tore the ribbon apart because he was too heavy.

-Katana's knots went loose and he fell to the ground.

-Shinki immediately gave up because he has a fear of heights.

-"Uhh.. Can you guys help me out here...?" Kyo got tangled.

"Hey! I think I'm getting the hang of this!" Maiko announced excitedly when she was the only one who balanced perfectly. "Good job Maiko!" Her trainer praised her. And everyone (except Lui) clapped.

"Hey can someone get me down from here?!" Kyo shouted, as he was still tangled.

Then all of a sudden, Lui stood up and walked up to Maiko, who was still in mid-air.

"Is this really necessary??" He asked her. Was all of this really necessary just for one song?? "Of course! If I wanna win! I gotta give it my all!" Maiko proudly said.

And there was silence for a bit. They were only staring at each others eyes.

"Care to join us Lui??" Maiko offered, breaking the silence. "No." He said sternly and walked away. "Oh come on! Just this once!" She pouted.

Lui was beginning to rethink letting his guard down for this girl.

He was hanging upside down. He's not saying anything. He's mentally cursing at everyone.

But never at Maiko.

"Ehehehe~ Are you ok Lui?" Maiko nervously asked. She was on the ground now, while Lui was still hanging upside down, crossing his arms and brows furrowed.

"What does it look like?!" He scowled. Maiko just sweat dropped.

"Ahahaha! I think that's enough practice for today!" Even Maiko's trainer was scared.
