She ascended onto the stage and was greeted by the whole stadium. Her loved ones on the VIP seats. The whole stage was decorated with flowers.

Her theme was another floral theme.

She started it with a flowery song, she'll end it with a flowery song.

She wore a proud smirk on her face and stepped forward, beginning her song.

*She was raised up by 2 backup dancers*

"I just wanna be your flower, freshly red
With my flowery scent, I lure in all the bees"

*She went back to the floor*

"Even as flowers wither, don't you worry, they will bloom again
As I bloom in vivid colors, everyone stares at me"

"They're all looking at me now, all of this attention

*She danced the choreo*

*She purposely fell off the cloth rope and perfectly landed on the huge swing set on the stage*

*She kept swinging back and fourth. Her swings were so wide she almost collided with the audience*

*She stood up from the seat and posed*

It was as if the whole world was silenced and she couldn't hear a thing. But slowly, loud cheers were filling her eardrums, and she opened her eyes.

The audience were all clapping, whistling, jumping up and down. Rideout was shouting and waving their lightsticks. Zac and Ayaka were crying tears of joy. And her mom was cheering loudly. Akari and Haruto gave each other a high-five and hugged each other. Her eyes scanned for Lui's reaction.

He was smiling proudly while clapping.

Maiko also teared up. This performance was for them. Their satisfaction was enough for her.

And winning this thing will be the icing on the top.

~Meanwhile at the VIP seats~

"WOOHOO!! GO MAIKO!!! THAT'S MY FRIEND!!" Kyo proudly shouted.

"Maiko! Maiko! Maiko!" Katana chanted.

"I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN, MAIKO!!!" Shinki shouted.

"That's my baby girl!!" Mrs. Kaneguro cried and hugged Zac tightly.

Even Rantaro came to the show. But just not in the VIP seats.

"WAAAHH MAIKO I LOVE YOUU!!!" Rantaro shouted. He was wearing a t-shirt with Maiko's face on. Even his fan had Maiko's face printed on it.

"Huh, maybe that aerial dancing practice wasn't a waste after all." Lui grimaced at the memory of him hanging upside down.

"Maiko's sure gonna win this one!" Akari said. And Haruto nodded in agreement.

"That's Little Miss Starlight for ya!" He added.

"My sister puts the 'Star' in 'Starlight'!" Zac said.

"Woohoo!! You go girl!!" Ayaka cheered.

"Maiko's got this in the bag." Gabe said.

"And here it is folks.... THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!" The host announced.

Maiko was on the right, Yui was on the left, while the host was in the middle.

"This will decide the destiny of these 2 lovely ladies.... WHO WILL IT BE??"

Half of the audience was shouting Maiko's name, while the other half shouted Yui's name.

"And now.... Japan's NEXT BIG IDOL IS......"

Maiko was smiling proudly, she was confident she'll win this. Meanwhile Yui was hanging her head down low while crossing her fingers. It was clear that she was nervous.

Maiko couldn't help but smirk. Victory was as clear as day. Her performance clearly had more pizzazz than Yui's. She didn't want to be a boastful turtle. But she just can't help it. She'll just keep that side to herself.

"I'm sorry, Yui... Not to brag, buuut... I clearly did better than you, you did great though- Just, not as great as me.. So I'll probably win thi-"
