Chapter 33

Maiko, Zac, Ayaka, and Rideout were all outside, waiting for the 5th time champion.

As soon as Lui stepped out of the building, Maiko ran towards him for a hug.

"You sure look cheerful, Maiko." Katana chuckled.

"Haha! Of course! My boyfriend won his 5th national tournament! So I should be happy!" She winked at them, while clinging unto Lui.

All of Rideout just laughed until Realisation hit them.

"WAIT WHAT-" They all said in unison.

"L-Lui's your boyfriend now?!" Katana asked, stupefied.

"Teehe~ yep!" Maiko winked proudly.

"SAY WHAT?!" Rantaro's shout could be heard from afar. He must've heard it even from a mile away. Man.. When it comes to Maiko, his hearing is 100%

Then he dramatically kneeled, despite being out in public. "I- WHY??!!!!" He cried. Daigo looked away, feeling embarrassed. Toko and Nika just sweat dropped. Shu just sighed. And Valt has no idea what's going on.

"Oh come on! Stand up! You're embarrassing! Oh my goodness!" Wakiya shouted.

It was the day after the finals, and Maiko blissfully woke up. She changed into her best clothes, because she and Lui are going out today to celebrate his win.

Once she was prim and perfect, she grabbed her purse and dashed towards their garage.

There, their driver was waiting for her. Noticing Maiko's presence, he started the car. Maiko quickly got in the back seat and wore her seat belt. "Where to, Miss?" Her driver asked as they were now on the road.

"To 'Blue Chip Cafe' pls!" She requested and the driver nodded.

Once they stopped by the cafe, she saw that Lui was already there. She gave a quick "thanks" to the driver and got off the car.

Lui was sitting in the tables outside the cafe. "Hi Lui. Sorry I'm late." She apologised and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Don't worry, I just got here also." He said. Maiko sat infront of him.

Lui called the waiter to take their order. And Maiko simply couldn't choose one, for it was all delicious.

Lui got the gist. "She'll have one of everything." He said to the waiter. Both Maiko and the waiter's eyes went wide.

"L-Lui!" Maiko was embarrassed. Sure she loved to taste all of them, but she doesn't want to burden Lui's or hers wallet.

Lui just smirked.

The waiter soon came back with their order. And boy was the table full. "Waahh!! Thank you for the food!!!" Maiko's eyes were practically sparkling at the sight of delicious pastries infront of her.

And they peacefully ate their food.

"Angel." Lui called. Maiko could just answer a "hm?" because her cheeks were stuffed with sweets. "You've got something here.." Lui pointed towards the stain at her cheek. Maiko tried to rub the stain away, but couldn't.

Lui hovered over the table and leaned towards Maiko's face. He wiped the stain away with his thumb and licked his thumb after.

Maiko was flushed in crimson red. They were on the streets after all. Lui just smirked at his success to make his girlfriend's heart skip a beat.

And after that, they did a little shopping...

Once the shopping was over, they took a rest at the bey park.

"So... What're we gonna do now?" Maiko asked.

"I'm planning to take on Free Dela Hoya..." Lui stated quietly, though the determination was as cleat as day. And Maiko just smiled at how passionate Lui was for blading.

"Wait- who's Freak Dela Hora?" Maiko asked. Lui doesn't know anything about the music industry, meanwhile Maiko doesn't know anything about the blading world.

The perfect pair.

"Angel, it's 'Free Dela Hoya'." Lui corrected. He forgot that Maiko has troubles with names.

"Oh- hehe~" Maiko sweat dropped.

"He's the world's top blader. And I plan to overthrow him." Lui stated with determination.

Maiko hugged him. "You can do it, Lui! I know you can! You're the best blader ever!" She said while giving Lui a closed eye smile. Lui was blessed to have a girlfriend like her.

"What about you?" Lui asked. Maiko looked up to the beautiful sky.

"Hmmm.. Maybe taking a break from music for a bit.." "You know... Take a vacation.. Unwind.. Relax..." She sighed. Lui knows how much Maiko deserves it.

"Yeah... That would be fun.." He said while also looking up at the clouds.

"And of course you'll come too~!"
"Wait what-"

"Ahahaha! You're coming with us silly!" Maiko giggled at the dumbfounded Lui. "We're gonna travel the world, Lui! We're going with Zac and Ayaka! It's gonna be fun!" She exclaimed while slightly tugging Lui's arm.

"I don't know..." Lui wanted to reject.

"Oh come on! You and I both need a vacation Lui! So PLSSS COMEE!!" Maiko gave Lui her signature puppy eyes. And how could Lui say 'no'? Sighing, he gave in.

"Tsk! Fine.."

"Yipee!!"
